Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m on FacebookPinterest, and my favorite one, Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~2 Timothy 1:7 has been a verse I’ve read for many years. It reminds me of the power I have with Christ.

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

Have a blessed day!

  1. Clarks is a quality English brand of shoes known for their workmanship and fit. As a child of the 1950’s in NZ, my mother would always choose Clarks shoes for me and it’s great to think the firm is still successful. Thanks Cyndi for sharing yourself and your family with us, and reminding us daily to thank our Lord for what he also shares.

    1. Susan, I have similar memories. We lived in Belgium and I remember trips to England were for shoe shopping for my Dad and I. Of course, my mom wore the fashionable French and Italian shoes. I don’t really remember them being clunky, just appropriate for everyday wear. Mine were always oxford types or Mary Janes. Those are still my faves. They often have coupons for up to 50% off in store or on-line. They are the only shoe my DH has ever worn starting with Wallabees in High School! Thanks Cyndi for letting me know they’re sold on QVC. I’ve never watched that channel.

  2. I just bought a pair Clark boots also and they are very comfortable. I went on a cruise last March first time. It was a lot of fun. Very relaxing and all the planning had been done a head of time. We went on Norwegian to the western Caribbean.

  3. So good to see a fashion post from you…I think it’s been like two weeks since the last one. Clark’s have definitely come a long way from being an old lady comfort shoe to now having stylish and cute comfort shoes. I have some Clark wedges that I love and the quality is fantastic. Always loved that sweater but the sleeves would have been too long for my petite arms 😔

  4. Cyndi – I live in Versailles, work in Wilmore and am in Lexington almost weekly – it’s so much fun to recognize the locations of your photo shoots! I am a new subscriber and LOVE your style 🙂 Keep up the great work!

  5. Cute outfit. We had two inches of snow last night so I won’t be wearing my boots for awhile. My fashion lately are my Lands End snow boots or my Vionic tennis shoes to walk the Mall of America (MOA). We walk the mall in the winter time because of snow and ice. We walk for 1 hour 30 minutes four times a week. It is a pretty exciting time for us here in MN to be hosting the 52nd Super Bowl. There are alot of fun things to do and see. The Winter Carnival is also going on at the same time. We have ice castles in St Paul and in Stillwater. This weekend will be a fun time outdoors for our family. Have a blessed day!

  6. Oh yeah Clarks have sure come along way. I tried a pair on back in the fall, and they were supper comfy. Although I went with Franco Sarto instead, they were just as comfy. I still love the sweater you are wearing, such a dramatic arm. Thanks for sharing this with us. Glad to hear all is well with Courtney. So many things you have to look forward to this spring. We had 20 Cm of snow again yesterday, so I am anxious for it to melt to get back to some booties and sneaker shoes( I know I’m rushing it).LOL

  7. I have really been enjoying your post about ways to aging gracefully or fighting it every step of the way. I turn the big 50 this year and I’m trying new things. I was asked to be a model for aging women and getting some injectables done to my face today.

I’m doing the Microblading later in February as your post encouraged me to try it out. Thank you for being real, open and honest with your procedures.

  8. Clarks have been my go-to shoes for professional and personal purposes for years. They have the most comfortable heels to wear with suits and they last a long time. I have been on coffee farm tours through Guatemala and Colombia with a pair of Clarks casual shoes that look as good when I return home as they did when I left. So comfortable!

  9. Where bave you been, girl! I’ve been a QVC customer since they began back in 1986 and get all my Clarks and others there. Try Issac Mizrahi’s 24/7 stretch pants, LOGO, and Lisa Rinna’s line.

    1. I have been a customer of QVC since 1986 as well. It was a year I was married. I have grown older with Marybeth Roe. We’re the same age. Love their return policy.

  10. take a look at the EARTH brand shoes on QVC… they are WAAAYYYYY more comfortable & stylish than Clark’s.. and I wore only Clark’s for 30+ years until I tried EARTH… love your blog styles & information.. thx

  11. Great booties, color and heel height. I have never owned Clarks, as they use to be so chunky and old ladyish but I’ve seen them change over the years and lots of cute ones out there now.

  12. I love Clarks for comfort. Those booties look great! Question: are you wearing them with bare feet? The cut is rather low, so I wondered. I cannot stand boots without socks—my feet freeze!

  13. Not about the booties, but we are expecting our first grandbaby in May! A boy! We’re over the moon excited and blessed!😍

  14. Really adorable! I love Clarks! As a teacher, who is on my feet all day long, they are a great shoe! I wish the sweater would be in stock!!!!

  15. I am pretty new to your blog and I look forward to checking it out daily. How did you get started blogging? Is it your full-time job, and how did you know what steps to take to do so?

  16. Hi Cyndi…..responding to this late but had a question. I love the lighter leather or suede booties, as they go with everything but all mine are ruined so fast, as my dark jeans rub on them and stain them blue. I try to roll short enough or wear shorter length jeans but in the winter, colder months, hard to do. Do you have this problem. I love the booties you are wearing in your post but no way would they work with dark jeans.

  17. I know the cardigan is sold out, but would it be possible it could be purchased somewhere else? I didn’t know if you could reveal the brand or not. Thanks.
