Fall Color Trend to Try: Army Green

Happy Monday ladies! Today, I’m teaming up with Jo-Lynne Shane to share a fall color trend. Each Monday in September we’re sharing a color trend to add to your wardrobe this fall and this week it’s army green.

Fall Color Trend to Try: Army Green

This color is probably my favorite color to wear during the fall season. I wear army green tops, jackets, pants, and dresses.

This weekend, I wore this cute mock neck sweater from Gibsonlook (use code cyndi15 for 15% off anything at Gibsonlook). The site calls it a sweater but it feels more like a soft top me.

I paired the sweater with jeans from White House Black Market. The jeans have distressing and a cuff (you can uncuff these jeans).

One of my favorite things to pair with army green is leopard print either with a leopard belt or leopard shoes. I paired this with leopard heels.

  1. Absolutely love this look and the color! It too is one of my favorite colors to wear especially this time of year! Also one of my favorite verses!

  2. I love the army green for fall. And pairing it with black is my favorite. I found you though Jo Lynn Shane’s blog. I have been looking for some fall shoes and I love those Jacey wedges.

  3. I have a lot of army green and olive in my closet. I wear it year round. You look real cute in your outfits. I love the leopard accessories. Leopard is my favorite print.

  4. One of my favorite verses in the BFTH that I’ve memorized. With things going on now in our world and not in our understanding, its good to TRUST HIM for HE knows.
Love the Gibson top. I almost ordered it the other day, but in the ivory color. I wish I could wear army green by my face, but I just wear it in pants. I like it with black and navy and years ago you styled it with blush and I like that combo too. Gibson has the softest material in their clothing. Have a great day. I’m sure you have a hard time staying away from visiting Caroline. 🙂 Hope all is going well. I’m sure Courtney will be a very busy mom in the coming days with 3.

  5. When is it appropriate to wear a hat? I recently bought one & now have no idea when and wear I can wear it. Temps come in to play as when to wear a felt hat too?
