Fall Fashion-Babydoll Dress

Welcome back to my 26 Days of Fall Fashion! I’m a huge fan of comfortable dresses so when I saw this babydoll dress from Loft, I knew I wanted to try it on.

If you have Loft Cash from any purchases you have made, this would be a good time to use it! I wanted to wait and style it when it went on sale but the large is already sold out and I was aftaid it would sell out before I styled it.

Fall Fashion-Babydoll DressWell, it is comfortable and the colors are beautiful for fall.

Fall Fashion-Babydoll DressI purchased my Kate Spade bag during a  75% off sale. I’m assuming it is last year’s style and the new one can be found here. Mine was regularly $298 too but I did get it on sale.

Fall Fashion-Babydoll DressRight now I’m styling this dress with a pair of nude peep toe booties. These are comfortable and look great with dresses. I love to wear a nude color shoe because it elongates the leg. (Use discount code graceandbeauty654 for $10 off your purchase from Glamour Farms.)

When the weather gets cold, I can wear the babydoll dress with leggings and boots.

Fall Fashion-Babydoll Dress This babydoll dress is lined and is 100% polyester so it doesn’t wrinkle.

Fall Fashion-Babydoll DressLastly, I forgot to mention my choker necklace. I meant to take some pictures without the choker because I know some of you won’t like this trendy accessory.

But you know me, I like to try different things and I’m starting to like the choker look so watch out! 🙂 As a matter of fact, I wouldn’t mind a thicker one that covers up my neck wrinkles. Ha!(I purchased mine at Charming Charlie but can’t find it online.)

Beauty for the Heart~~You know people just assume, ‘Well, all my life I’ll be a worrier.’ That doesn’t have to be true. There’s a way to drink from God’s presence so much that worry begins to dissipate.~Max Lucado

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

Turn your worry into trust. Trust Him today.

Have a blessed day!

  1. Yikes…two days in a row! Again, this is a dress I would have walked right past..but it is SO cute on you!!

I think I may be your shape sister so I am definitely going to try this on…hope I can wear it as well as you do!

  2. I LOVE the choker and think it makes the outfit look even better! Don’t shy away from chokers! Love that trend and it looks great on you!

  3. I normally love what you wear but this just looks so wrong!!! Its simply too girly and I was in the fashion business for years………….sorry not a good look! love the quote tho thk u

  4. Hi Cyndi ~ this dress looks so cute on you. This is why we love it when you style it for us, because this is a dress I wouldn’t have tried on. I am petite and it looks like a busy pattern and a lot of material for my small frame, but it does look comfy. Thanks for sharing and have a great day!

  5. This is such a cute dress and oh I wish I could wear it BUT dresses cut like this tend to look like maternity wear on me. It is very stylish with the choker, which again, not sure I’m comfortable with that look on me, but it is really cute with that dress. Love the purse and shoes 🙂

  6. Very cute on you! Like someone else, these styles look like maternity wear on me. I think I’d like this with a bigger more scooped neckline. I f eel like it’s too high. Again, you are able to pull this off! The choker looks cute but again, not my style.

  7. Love the colors of the dress. For me this style and length of dress would work better with Capri or ankle length leggings.

  8. Not only do I love your clothes for “our age”, but your blog has touched my heart to go back to church. I took a break when they changed the words at the Catholic mass! I was pouty about that but I missed God so thank u, my heart feels full again!

  9. nice and really like the neckline. I have such a challenge with everything showing too much cleavage. the colors are so pleasant, also. always love everything from the Proverbs.

  10. Please continue to style “trendy” things (like the choker). I love this blog because it gives me courage to try new looks!

  11. I’m sorry but I’m not a fan of the Loft dress, you still look adoreable though. I would love to see some Fall skirts with boots, that’s a look I would like to try. Thanks Cyndi, Happy Tuesday.

  12. I love the colors in this dress. I am a little frugal as to what I will pay for a dress. I hope it will go on sale. Choker looks good on you, but when I look down, I have a double chin. So, I’m not sure about a choker for me. I look forward to seeing each day what message the Lord inspires you to share. Thank you for your inspiration.

  13. Love this dress on you Cyndi! I bought it last month for a wedding this fall. The style & colors are so pretty-a little bit vintage! Great to be able to wear heels now & boots later!

  14. I love your ideas. I love that you put things together and inspire us all. This outfit is adorable on you. Just remember that you can never please everyone 100% of the time 🙂 That is a lesson I had to learn. You keep on rocking your outfits. Just be you! We all love you. There are no rules in fashion (I don’t care what anyone says). It is simply you and what makes you feel beautiful and alive. I think you always looked polished and just plain adorable. Have a blessed day today Cyndi! xo

  15. This dress looks so cute on you! I like the choker and I’m with you, might have to wear one to cover wrinkles on neck, however I’m working on that, just started using Rodan+Fields skincare. Have a great day!!😊

  16. The dress is beautiful! I have struggled with what to wear at my age (50 in December) and have been struggling with the fashion that I love, should I really wear that at my age! So I took a leap of faith and put on a v-neck white t with jeans rolled the hem with my white converse, and yes a brown leather choker!! I was pretty confident when I looked in the mirror, then went with my husband to Home Depot and Chilies to eat. I was expecting weird looks, rolling of people eyes. Instead of negative feed back I just knew I would get, I was comfortable and confident and not one disapproving look and even a you look so pretty today from my husband! So the choker looks perfect on you with the beautiful dress! We are our own worse enemy when it comes to looking in the mirror! What I see is not what they see!
God Bless you for all you do!

  17. This is a wonderful look on you Cyndi! I also like your updated profile picture!!
Thanks for including my most favorite bible verse in your post today.
    Blessings <3

  18. This dress looks beautiful on you, Cyndi! I absolutely love it! I, too, am loving and wearing chokers this season. This truly is one of my favorite outfits on you. You look amazing!!!!

  19. Simply beautiful on you. Colors are spectacular and the chocker pulls it all together. Not sure I could pull it off but you are just lovely in it.

    1. In the photo from the Loft, the model is wearing dark footwear, and with all due respect to Loft, I think Cyni’s choice of nude booties is far better! Although I don’t think I could wear a dress this short, I might wear it over leggings. I learned a lot from this post, thanks to Cyndi’s artistic styling!

  20. Love baby doll dresses. This one is super cute. But I’m a legging or tights and bootie/boots girl with my baby doll dresses. Also, I have a couple baby doll dresses from Glamor Farms!! They have a great selection. Have a great day!
