Beauty For the Heart™For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

Truth: I love that we are God’s workmanship and were created to do good works. This means we are called to live a life of good works. These good works are not something we do to earn our salvation, but they are the natural outflow of our love for God and people.

God knows what we are good at and what we are passionate about, and he has a plan for how we can use our gifts to make a difference in the world. I want to use any gifts or talents I have to do good and bring glory to God.

As we begin a new week, let’s look for ways to do good!

  1. I love the shirtdresses!

I’m going to Israel for the first time in December. If you have any recommendations on what to pack, I’d love to hear them.

  2. Good Morning Cyndi, I’m super excited for you family and friends that going on this trip, how fun is that! Enjoy every part of it~.~

*Personally I really like the shirtdress style, I like that you mentioned you can dress it up or down, that’s the fun part of these dresses.I have a few and enjoy wearing them. But I did see a couple I like and might need to have-hahaha.
    -Xx enjoy your lunch

  3. A shirtdress (or few) in the closet is like a bra in the drawer, something you just need to have on hand all the time . . . (IMO, of course)

    1. Hi Cyndi!! Enjoy your grandkids, they don’t stay small long enough 😉
I myself love shirt dresses 😍
      Have a Blessed Day 😇

  4. I loved shirt dresses when I was younger, but now that I’m in my 70s I’m not sure they would be attractive on me. I’ll have to shop around!
I’m going to Italy for 8 days in October and only taking carry-on. My first time with no checked luggage!

  5. I like the shirt dress style and it’s been many years since I’ve had one in my wardrobe. The cobalt blue one is very pretty and I also like the classic denim ones.

  6. I think the shirtdress is fabulous on the right person. I am petite and its different on me. I do better with sheath styles, fit and flare, close to body styles without too much extra fabric. I have loved sundresses this summer & shorts. My Mom wore them well and remember she had a ton of them. My Mom could wear anything kinda like you! Everything you put on looks fabulous!

  7. My first junior size dress was a shirt dress. My parents took me shopping that day. It’s a special memory so I have always liked shirt dresses. I don’t have any because they have to have the right fit. I’m going to try to find one. I like some of the ones in your picture.

  8. I would love to have your packing list for Israel! I am going next year in March and that is my biggest question! If you are willing to share, that would be really awesome! Thank you for considering at least!

  9. I honestly don’t like shirt dresses at all! They are cute on the hanger, but otherwise I don’t find them flattering on any figure. Too many other great options.

  10. I would like a midi shirtwaist dress with a narrow brown leather belt and brown loafers for casual look. Love your blog.
