Fall Wedge Boots #Who Wore It Best?

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

black wedge heel from Off broadwayWhat is one thing women over 40 should add to there wardrobe? I think it’s a wedge heel. It doesn’t have to be a high heel.

Wearing heels makes you appear leaner, giving you the illusion of having longer legs — and let’s face it, that’s a nice illusion to have!

I think the easiest heel to wear is a wedge heel, especially the wedge boot. They are easy to walk in and come in several different styles for the fall and winter season.

If you’re looking for some cute wedge boots, Off Broadway Shoes has all the latest boot styles for fall, at amazing warehouse prices.

Beauty For the Heart~~“Every circumstance of trial, temptation, and suffering is an opportunity to prove your love for God by clinging to Him.” (God.net)

I found this quote yesterday and loved it. The quote reminds us that what ever we are going through can be used to glorify God.

Have a blessed day!

  1. this wedge boot would be PERFECT for your wide leg pants you are unsure of….try it out and you will see. This would be the exact footwear I would wear with wide leg pants in colder weather – for warmer weather I still prefer flat open toe sandles with wide leg pants.

  2. do you ever find wedges with a 2-2 1/2″ heel? that’s more the height i feel comfortable in. I just can’t seem to find them 😉

  3. HI Cyndi,
Love your wedged heels. You look great in your khaki vest…(the vintage khaki color and vest style-military) fits perfectly with the rock wall that is here in KY. I love going through Bourbon CO. and seeing the wall. I just bought a khaki vest similar to yours back in Sept, and haven’t worn it yet. I’m thinking of pairing it with a long sleeve mock turtleneck.
On our road trip into Tenn, we had the hand of God with us continually. I’m always amazed when a wrong turn turns out to be right after all- the hand of the Lord is mighty and always right there in time of need! Praise the Lord !!

  4. OMG! I absolutely love your entire look in today’s post! I need to buy some of those wedge boots! I have everything else in my closet to copy your look, only if it was not humid and warm today!

    Hugs,
    Kim

  5. I just love wedges..period. For work they are great and so much easier to walk in. I bought a pair of wedge boots last year and really enjoy wearing them. I have open-toe wedges that I wear from early spring to late fall and love those too. Wedges look good with flare/bootcut pants/jeans too.

  6. The wedge boots are great! But what really made my day was your quote at the end, “~~“Every circumstance of trial, temptation, and suffering is an opportunity to prove your love for God by clinging to Him.” (God.net) I have always questioned God as to exactly HOW a terrible turn of events can be used to glorify Him. Now I see it, thanks to this quote! One of my favorite verses is Ps. 63:8 “My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me. ” And the song verse that goes “”Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him! How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er;” Now I see that it is the “clinging” to Him, no matter what, that gives Him the glory. (Not to mention that He always makes the terrible situation actually work out for the good!) Thank you for that quote!

  7. Hi Cyndi. Love this outfit. Could you share where you bought the other items? I would also like to know how the boots fit – true to size? Thanks.
