Friday Fashion: Casual Fashion For Women Over 40

Friday Fashion: Casual Fashion For Women Over 40Happy Friday ladies! Today I’m sharing some casual fashion from Glamour Farms Boutique. They have so many cute clothes, I’d like one of everything, thank you very much!

I love working with the ladies at Glamour Farms because they are sweet and they love to help women look their best on the outside but they share my passion for beauty beginning on the inside.

They try to find clothes that are affordable and they always offer a $10 off coupon code for all my readers. This weeks coupon code is spivey113 (Use this code one time only).

So here is what I’m styling from Glamour Farms this week!

I styled a pair of Kut From the Kloth flare jeans with an olive blouse. I love this outfit!

I also styled this bohemian fringe shawl. You can wear it as a shawl or a vest and I personally like it better as a vest. I added an elephant print top that I received earlier in the year in my Stitch Fix box.

  1. I like the shawl with the white top but not the grey. Too much contrast. I like the way it blends in with the white top. But I love that grey print top you have on but there’s no link. Where did you buy that? Very cute!! Have a wonderful weekend!!

    1. I agree with you Christine . I love the printed Elephant shirt too. She said she received it in her Stitch Fix box earlier in the year . Very pretty… 🙂

  2. I just LOVE the jeans and olive top, looks fabulous on you casual but still put together. To quote “My Best Friends Wedding” “love the bag, love the shoes, love EVERYTHING!” 😉 Have a wonderful Friday!

  3. I’m so excited that you styled the shawl! I ordered it last week and got it Monday. I haven’t worn it yet because it’s been warm this week in Tennessee. I love it and like you I have decided to style it as a vest. It showed also using it like a blanket scarf but I couldn’t figure that out! I was thinking about getting a cream t-shirt but after seeing it with the white I like that. It should be cooler tomorrow and Sunday so that may be my outfit! Hope you all have a wonderful family weekend/wedding!

  4. I look forward to your posts and I think you are darling! Thanks for the daily reminders about inner beauty and your scriptures which always strike a chord with me. I’m so happy for your family and I will be praying that the wedding is a wonderful family time and the beginning of years of happiness for your daughter and that precious grandson!

  5. The outfit with the olive shirt is so cute! I wish I could tuck things in, but I think those days are past for me. I need to disguise my tummy. :-l All great looks!

  6. I have the ivory shawl myself. I haven’t been able to wear it yet living in south Louisiana, but it is suppose to get cooler this weekend so I’m going to try it out. Love the necklace! I think I may have to order it!! Have a wonderful weekend and may blessings come your way!

  7. Thank you to you and to Glamour Farms for the 10.00 coupon! God’s blessings upon you Courtney and her fiancé as they begin their lives together as husband and wife this weekend! Enjoy celebrating as a family! Hope to see pictures!

  8. These flare jeans look great on you! And I really like the vest paired with the white shirt.

And just to affirm what others have shared with you—I very much appreciate you keeping things affordable!

    Thanks so much!

Hoping your weekend is filled with joy!

  9. The olive shirt and jeans is my favorite of the three 🙂 Olive looks great with your complexion.

I’m looking forward to the winter fashion series from you and Jo-Lynne.

Congrats with the future wedding. That is so exciting and your daughter is absolutely beautiful. She will make a stunning bride.

    Have a great weekend ~Lisa~

  10. Love, love, love today’s scripture. I hope the weather there will be nice this weekend. Enjoy the special wedding! God bless!

  11. Hi Cyndi,
    I love the Proverbs!
You look stunning in both outfits. I especially adore the first with the olive green. I love the earth tones, all year round, whether in dark or light !

  12. I knew you would find a pair of flares you liked! They look awesome on you. I am getting my flares out as we speak.

  13. Cute outfits as usual! I really enjoy the Beauty for the Heart today, this might be the basis for my Sunday School lesson with my youth at church! Wishing you all a beautiful weekend for your daughter’s wedding!

  14. love the olive blouse and the vest with the white shirt!! you look FAB as always!! 😉 praying for great weather this weekend and for God’s hand of blessing over your daughter and new son-in-law 😉

  15. I love the olive shirt and flare jeans. Just the right amount of flare. Best wishes to Courtney and A.J. on their wedding and especially for their marriage.

  16. Special good wishes and blesssings for your daughter and new son-in-law. As a mother of a grown daughter, who also married this year, there’s not much that fills your heart with happiness as the genuine smile radiating from your daughter’s face when she’s happy. It’s an overwhelming emotion that I’m sure all moms (and dads) feel. So very happy for you all! God’s timing is always perfect :).
All of the outfits are super cute and I love the flare jeans.

  17. You look very beautiful and graceful in all of the outfits. I love the Proverbs verse…..more food for thought. I hope you have a wonderful time celebrating with your daughter and new husband.

  18. I’m not a fan of the vest. It looks too bulky for my taste. I like it better with the white shirt over the other one.

    1. I agree about the bulk and the white blouse. My daughter is 5’10”, she has a vest like this and it looks great on her. I’m 5’5″ and it’s just too much. But, sometimes it’s hard to tell in photos.

  19. Your outfits look very nice. In particular that olive colored blouse really suits your complexion! I’ve sent an e-mail to Glamour Farms Boutique to see if they ship to Canada. No response = do you know if they do?

  20. CUTE, CUTE, CUTE outfits!!! I love the flare jeans on you. I hope you are enjoying them more than when you posted about them a few weeks back! 🙂 Thank you as always for sharing.

  21. So glad to find you! I have been feeling bad about myself lately (I am an aging “beauty”) – don’t know how to dress at this age, can’t find my “image” – about to give up and wear my husband’s clothing. You are SO CUTE and “normal” – like a friend – someone I can relate to. I also LOVE how you tie your faith into your work. You are truly inspiring – much needed. I look forward to checking in for guidance! I hope you have a wonderful Easter celebration!
