Graphic Tee + Denim Shorts

Hi ladies! This has been a long week. I’m so thankful we have had sunshine and warm weather. Being outside definitely helps my mental state.

I love a graphic tee and I found this Gratitude tee at Evereve. Gratitude is defined as the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.

I love the last two words…return kindness. We could sure use some kindness in our world today.

This is a Sub Urban Riot tee and they’re one of my favorite brands of tees. They don’t shrink, they keep their color and they fit well.

I wore these slip-on sneakers from Steve Madden.

These denim shorts are from LOFT and they’re 50% off.

Gratitude Tee (I’m wearing a small)// Denim Shorts (I’m wearing a size 27)// Slip-On Sneakers (I sized up 1/2 size)// Earrings// Sunglasses

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Make sure you head over to see what Jo-Lynne is styling for summer!

Beauty for the Heart~~ Scripture verses that remind us to be kind:

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32

A man who is kind benefits himself, but a cruel man hurts himself. Proverbs 11:17

Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor. Proverbs 21:21

Have a blessed day!

  1. I love the graphic tee and simple Jean shorts. This is what I would wear on weekend errands and also like those sneakers. I’m finding more and more Steve Madden shoes I like but use to think they were for the younger generation. We all need to be reminded that gratitude must be practiced daily. Thank you for sharing this.

  2. I love the outfits you style. I have to make a confession–sometimes I don’t read your blog because my wallet needs a break. I just purchased the Old Navy jumpsuit. I love it. I never thought I would say that about a jumpsuit. I also place an order with Jude Connally. I love the dress you worn from them. Yes, they are pricey BUT the quality of the dress is fantastic. Thank you to introducing me to this company. Keep the fashions coming.

  3. I always love a graphic tee:) this outfit has my name all over it… thanks for the verses I’ll be adding them to my journal ❤️

  4. What a great message for today! We are without power until at least Friday afternoon after losing it late Wednesday afternoon. Right now I’m not feeling so blessed but we have no damage so that is the bright side! Those are really cute shoes. I may need to go shopping again however my closet might actually be bulging At this point. Take care

  5. Cindy,
I’m curious. Why do you give your size when modeling an outfit? Why not just say true to size or a suggestion to size up or down? As a college educator that has watched women struggle with body image, I think that anything we can do to celebrate a healthy body without regard to being a size Xsmall might be helpful. Just a thought here. Thank you.

    1. Linda, I understand but if I don’t put my sizes I will get comments asking me for my size. Many of the women have been following for a long time and they size up or down according to my size.

    2. Linda, it helps a lot of us to know Cyndi’s size and then we can size up or down depending on what she is wearing, OR keep the same size for that matter. Her telling sizes has helped me order the right size numerous times. I think everyone loves Cyndi and her telling her size is not going to make or break someones opinion of themselves. People LOVE her.

  6. Thank you for the wonderful Bible verses. With all the world is experiencing right now, these beautiful words from scripture are all that we need to make things right in our nation, our communities, and our homes. God bless.

  7. HI, I love graphic t’s, but only wear scoop, square, boat or V-necks. Crews just aren’t my thing. Could you do a post sometime on graphic t’s that have non-crew necklines? Thank you.

  8. I have not owned a pair of sneakers since I was 12 years old.
But these are so very cute, I think I want to try them. Kinda sparkly.
Now, one question is 66 years old too old for sneakers?

    1. Kathleen,
I don’t know you, but I’m sure you’d look fabulous in sneakers at 66! Go for it❣️

  9. I so enjoy your blog posts! It’s refreshing to see your Love for Christ and encouraging words, along with great fashion tips.
