When I turned 40, healthy living became much more important to me. I started eating healthier, no more M&M’s for breakfast. I started exercising a little more regular, and finally I started using essential oils.

I love using my essential oils! I’m constantly finding new ways to use them. I clean with them, I use them to help with anxiety, menopause, and I even use them in my toothpaste.

One of my favorite essential oils is Lemon Oil. I drink a lot of water every day and adding a drop of Lemon oil not only tastes great but it has several benefits that help me with my overall health.

Here are some of the reasons I love adding Young Living Lemon oil to my water:

  • Lemon Oil from Young Living is cold pressed from the rinds. This means that it’s not acidic and you don’t have to worry about hurting the enamel on your teeth from drinking it with water.
  •  Lemon Oil is great for your health! It improves mental focus, supports circulation, relieves occasional heartburn, support healthy skin, aids in detoxing, and has immune-boosting properties.
  • Lemon Oil is inexpensive. I only add 1-2 drops per 16 ounces of water and that’s about 0.06 per drop.

When adding Lemon oil to your water, always use glass! The oil can break down plastics and other synthetics.

If you struggle at all with fluid retention, sluggish bowels, anxiety, sluggish lymph system, drinking lemon oil in water may help.
