Day 2 Spring Fashion: How to Style a Navy Blouse

Happy Tuesday, and welcome to Day 2 of my Spring Fashion series; today, I’m sharing How to Style a Navy Blouse.

Boy, do I love navy and white this time of year!  Navy is a universal color and flatters most skin tones. It’s versatile, which is why I’m styling a lot of navy this month.

This pretty navy blouse is from Express. The blouse has long sleeves with button cuffs.

It’s very feminine with a button front and lace trim. It also comes in black and ivory.

For a casual look, I paired the blouse with white jeans and white mules. These white jeans are on sale for $59. They fit well, and they’re sheer-proof with beige pockets (so they won’t show through),

The handbags are getting big this year, and this one from Target is a hobo style with a knotted handle.

Next, I dressed the navy blouse and white jeans up a bit with heels from Express. They have a padded footbed and quilted strap, which make them comfortable.

My clutch is from Amazon and has ruched detail. It has straps if you prefer a strap,

Now, head to Jo-Lynne Shane and see what she’s styling for our 23 Day of Spring Fashion!

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~ I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. Philippians 1:9

This verse is a beautiful reminder for us to love more and grow in the knowledge of Christ. The more we know Christ, the more we become like him.

Have a blessed day!

  1. Well, we sure were on the same wavelength today! Couldn’t have planned it better if we’d tried. 😂 Love this look, and those quilted slides are 🥰.

  2. Looks like you and Jo-Lynne have the same idea on the minds! White jeans and navy! Such a classic.. love the look with the white mules. It’s -10 here today so a ways off from bare feet and shoes yet.. but I can dream lol

  3. I like the shoes but honestly do they make a lot of noise when walking? I always feel like a horse with shoes like this style because when i walk they flap up against my foot (hard to explain)

  4. Love this outfit, even tho I don’t wear navy. I’m going to try the white jeans in petite as I need a new pair for spring but wasn’t sure the skinny jeans would still be in style but they look best on me. Also love your new design and pics. Your blog looks fresh and modern.

  5. What a pretty, feminine look! Navy and white is a pretty combo. Thanks for doing the Spring collaboration with Jo-Lynn. It is something I look forward to.

  6. I love navy and white. So pretty on you. I would love to get to a Banana Republic store and try on those white jeans. I think I need the petite but sometimes petite fits weird in the crotch area. I prefer when they have “short”. There really is a difference. I think I’m only petite in height not other dimensions if that makes any sense. 🙂 So ready for Spring clothes.

  7. Cindy,
Since your blog was redone I have stopped receiving your blog posts. I have not cancelled it at all. I really look forward to them every day. Are any of your other readers having the same issue?

  8. Love this look and it looks great on you, especially the color!
Personally, I can’t wear shirts/blouses tucked in (I’m heavier without a waistline) so in the future could you give us ideas for blouses without tucking them in? Maybe a tie or loose belt or….you’re the expert so do you have any ideas for those like me? Thanx Cyndi.

  9. Which size clutch do you have? I noticed it comes in S, M, L. Also, I just noticed your emails were going to spam. Hoping I was able to correct that. Love your looks for spring!
