How To Style Plaid For Fall

Hi ladies! It’s fall, and that means it’s time to pull out our plaid shirts. Plaid is a traditional fall staple and a fresh and classic pattern.

A plaid shirt can look fun and casual with boots and jeans, yet office-appropriate when paired with a skirt or dressy pants. Plaid prints can be worn in so many different ways!

You can also wear a plaid shirt with denim and sneakers. (Use code cyndi15 for 15% off Gibsonlook clothes.) I wore this pretty plaid shirt from Gibsonlook recently.

I love this classic plaid shirt with slightly puffed sleeves and a ruffle-trimmed neckline.

  1. Hi Cyndi,

Not much of a plaid shirt person, but I do like a couple of the colors. Maybe this will be the year I try them?!🤷🏽‍♀️. Have a blessed day!

  2. Thank you for sharing your nieces video, it was precious.
So excited your coming to San Antonio! I’m a native and love my city so please let me know if you need any tips?
I actually bought a plaid top over the weekend and can’t wait to wear it.

    1. I love being a “Cyndi Spivey insider”! Thank you for all the great tips and ideas. I also enjoy the Beauty for the hour as well, it’s very inspiring! Me and my husband just bought an RV and would love to hear more about your adventures. Thanks again!

    2. I like plaid depending on the colors. The weather in the mornings will be cooler in central Texas. The afternoons will be in the 80s. We think that’s cool. I hope you have a good time in my home state.

  3. I LOVE plaid for Fall. Cute look. Thanks for the BFTH. Your trip sounds fun. I wish I felt brave enough to travel. I still always have Covid on my mind. 🙁 I guess its pretty safe in an RV though. We have decided that is what we need to do…purchase an RV soon.

  4. Cyndi,

Now that y’all are traveling in your RV, maybe you could schedule a meet-up with your subscribers in whatever town you’re visiting. I’m a long-time subscriber that lives in the San Antonio area and would love to see you in person and hug your neck!

  5. I hope you have a great trip and enjoy Texas. I am from San Antonio (I now live in Austin). If you like tex-mex, you need to look into going to The Alamo cafe. San Antonio has 2 locations, I think the one on highway 281 is the best of the two locations. They have been in business for over 30 years and have wonderful fajitas. Of course there are the 2 tourist restaurants on the riverwalk (Mi Tierra Cafe and La Margarita), but I am not really a fan of those restaurants. Have fun and drive safe! ~Kim in Texas
