How to Style Wide Leg Jeans

Thank you to Gap Factory and ShopStyle Collective for sponsoring this post.

Hi ladies! I have embraced straight-leg jeans, and now I’m ready to style wide leg jeans. They’re such a nice option, and I especially like these jeans from Gap Factory. They’re a wide leg but not too wide and can be worn with sandals or sneakers.

This summer, Gap Factory is here to get you and your family stocked up for the end of the summer season. Gap Factory is a one-stop shop with quality pieces from clothes to accessories!

Almost Everything is 40-70% Off + Extra 10% Off Purchase, valid from 7/20-7/28.

How to Style Wide Leg Jeans

I love a floral top, and this one has flutter sleeves and is so pretty. It also comes in a white and red color. It runs slightly big, so size down.

These wide leg jeans have a raw hem and classic five-pocket styling. They also have all 5-star reviews!

Flutter-Sleeve Top (I’m wearing an XS) • High Rise Vintage Flare Jeans (I’m wearing a size 28)

Next, I styled the jeans with a navy floral top. It can be worn on the shoulders or off the shoulder. This top runs slightly big, too, so size down.

The top is flowy and looks best tucked in with this style of jeans.

Scoopneck Tee (I’m wearing an XS) • High Rise Vintage Flare Jeans (I’m wearing a size 28)

Lastly, I styled the jeans with a sleeveless t-shirt and sneakers. The t-shirt runs TTS and comes in several colors.

Sleeveless Ruffle T-Shirt (I’m wearing a small) • High Rise Vintage Flare Jeans (I’m wearing a size 28)

Gap Factory has the best promotions and definitely has something for everyone in the family.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

  1. I’m adapting to the straight jean style but it’s been so hot I haven’t really been wearing jeans much. I’m not sure I’ll do the wide leg I’m 5’3 and feel they can be overwhelming.. I have that flutter sleeve in the white and it’s very versatile. I’ll be checking out the navy one very cute and great transition piece!
Hope Caroline has a wonderful Happy First Birthday the time goes so fast!! Our granddaughter will be one in September 🙈

    1. PS. So happy Caroline is doing well. My NICU grandaughter will be 3 in August. Time does go so fast. We just visited her. My heart is full.

  2. I think it is easier to style anything when you can tuck your top in. I don’t tuck because I don’t want my stomach showing. I’d love to see some styles worn out. I’m also petite which makes it hard.
Enjoy your granddaughter’s birthday this weekend. That will be so much fun! My sweet grandbaby who is 9 months got tubes in her ears this morning. Praying she will be feeling much better now.

  3. I really love the first outfit with the floral top and slides!! That’s a perfect casual outfit for the weekend errands!

  4. No short length left, but I maybe could cut the regular. 🙂 Love all the looks on you, but not fond of the jeans with the tennishoes.

  5. Will you ever style skinny jeans again? I feel like I can’t embrace straight or wide leg jeans.

  6. You look great in all these outfits, but most of all, your beauty for the heart is such a blessing!❤️

  7. I like the straight leg jeans the best. However these flares are cute. They’re not over the top. They look good on you. Right now it’s just too hot for jeans. I never did like the skinny leg pants even though I have some. I do like a slim leg at the ankle. Where I live almost no one is on trend. I see a lot of skinny jeans and even leggings in 100 plus weather. I start to sweat just looking at them. To each his own.

  8. Thank you for a Jean post. I have been thinking ahead to cooler weather lately. I appreciate all the looks so I can shop with your ideas in mind!
I need to retrain my eye for the updates I would like to make!

  9. Love the wide leg jeans with the floral tops outfits. I hadn’t considered styling them that way. This is why I enjoy your posts so much. You always inspire.

  10. Maybe it’s just me but I think the wide leg jeans add about 10 pounds. It’s just not an attractive look to me but maybe it will grow on me. I think I look best in skinny jeans so I hope they don’t go completely out of style.

  11. I am petite so don’t like them on me unless I have a 3.5 inch heel on under the legs. I can do that best in the winter with a boot but you know I don’t even own a wide leg pair any longer. In the summer in Mississippi it is 115 heat index so cropped jeans to show off sandals are my favorite and In fall & winter I still do kick crop, cropped, skinny , straight & itty bitty boot cut .You look great in this style since taller!! I love your ideas on styling these!!
