Everyday Casual Style with Gap Factory

Cargo pants are trending this year, and these linen cargo pants are lightweight and will be perfect for summer. I paired the linen pants with a v-neck flutter top.

These pants have a drawstring with an elasticized waist.

This top has short flutter sleeves, a v-neck, and a henley button front, it’s also lightweight and perfect for hot weather.

This pretty dress will work great for my petite ladies. It’s a little short on me; I’m 5’5″.

The jersey knit dress with short flutter sleeves comes in three colors; I’m wearing the red poppy.

A denim jacket looks good with this dress if the weather is chilly. The denim jacket is a light wash with slant pockets in the front.

This puff-sleeve dress is another great option for summer. My floral dress pattern is not available, but they still have several colors and a purple floral pattern available.

I added the denim jacket to this dress too. I love having a denim jacket close by in case I get chilly.

Beauty For the Heart™Turn my eyes from worthless things, and give me life through your word. Psalm 119:37

Truth: This verse tells us that our heart and mind must be focused on the truth of God and not material wealth and the vanities of the world.

Matthew 6:19-21 says, Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.

How can we store up treasures in heaven? We treasure Jesus, we love people, and we give generously. We use the gifts God has given us to make a difference here on earth. Life is short, so make the most of each day. It’s a gift!

Let your beauty shine from the inside out today!

  1. I love the denim jackets too…I have several blue, cream and a white one.

The BFTH really spoke to me today, thank you for the reminder. I have a terrible tendency to keep clothes I haven’t worn in forever…LOTS of clothes. Well, not just clothes, but shoes too. These verses are just what I needed to help me Spring PURGE PURGE PURGE! 🙏🏻Blessing to you Cyndi. PS: What did you wear to the concert?

  2. yay!!! Thanks……….got the extra small petite in cargo linen. Wanted the green color Old Navy had but they sold out sooooo fast. Hope these in khaki linen fit. They said tapered leg so hope more fitted and not huge. I love Gap too.

  3. I wish Gap would have brought more colors for the utility pants. I have the green. I really don’t like the gray ones. I’m waiting to travel to Gap factory store later this month to try some of their other pants. Pants like the linen I have to buy in person. If the fit is not right it can be very unflattering from the side and back. I don’t like returning by mail especially if it’s not free. Love beauty for the heart.

  4. I got the utility pants but they were long, hit at my ankles and I’m the same height as you. Did you hem yours?

  5. I ordered those from cargo linen pants with tapered leg and they run big . I ordered a XSP in them and they swallowed me by at least a size or two. I usually have a problem with these type pants as they just seem to run big everywhere I have tried them on. I sent these back. I love the blouse though and may order it. 🙂
