Merry Christmas from Our Family to Yours!

Happy Wednesday, ladies! I can’t believe it’s only two sleeps until Christmas. Of course, I still have some wrapping to do and food to cook.

I also want to soak up the next few days with these sweet people below, so I’m taking a few days off for some family time and to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

This has not been an easy year for any of us. We’ve been reminded of how fragile we are and that life is short. More than ever, we should love well!

Left to Right: Cory, our son, Wayne, my husband, me, Colt, our grandson, Courtney, our daughter, Claire, our granddaughter, and AJ, our son-in-law.

Wayne and I have so much fun with Colt and Claire. They bring a lot of joy to our family.

I am beyond grateful for each of you too. Thank you for taking time out of your day, stopping by my blog, and supporting my business. I could not do this blog without YOU!

As I count my blessings, I count you as a blessing. I pray this year more than ever you feel the wonder of the Christmas season.

It doesn’t seem like Christmas to me as my boyfriend and I have both had covid for 2 weeks. No presents … no tree… no family. But much more to be thankful for. In this season where we all want to be happy – it has been a pretty depressing season. And to top it off .. my 91 year old aunt passed away alone last week and we got thru the 3rd anniversary of my dad passing on12/21. Let’s bring in 2021 with gratefulness and thankfulness and much much love and hope for a better year. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

  59. Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year! I am thankful that my family has remained healthy through this pandemic, especially my daughter who is an ER nurse.

  60. Merry Christmas Cyndi and family. Wishing you many Christmas blessings. Your request for a bible reminded me of our tradition that I think you would appreciate. Tomorrow night we will take out the bible my Great grandfather read from in the tiny church in rural Ontario Canada. When the church closed they gave the bible to my mom and then it came to me. My son and daughter have carried this bible to church and read (Luke) for several years. This year we will be doing it at home.

  61. I have so much to be thankful for! I’m thankful for My families health and for our faith and love of our Heavenly Father. I’m thankful for opportunities to show kindness, caring and love.

  72. What a beautiful family! There is truly nothing better. Wishing you a very blessed and Merry Christmas!!! XO

  73. I am most thankful for Jesus and my family. This has been a hard year. My 20 year old niece was killed by a drunk driver that hit her car head on in her lane. She loved the Lord and left behind her journals of His great love and a note to her dad. She told him if she was gone to find his way to Jesus so they could spend eternity in heaven together. My brother in law, her dad was saved at her funeral. My heart breaks for my sister and brother in law but in this darkest time of our lives, we have truly seen Jesus and His grace. I have learned to not take our time together for granted but truly know we have eternity if we have Jesus! I know when the angels stopped to rejoice when her dad got saved, our beautiful Ray Ray was rejoicing the loudest for now all of her family will one day be with her and Jesus. I am so thankful for our home in heaven!

  74. I am thankful for my children. 5 months ago I lost the love of my life very unexpectedly ( not covid). My girls have given me the strength to get out of bed each morning and live life how Steve would want. It is not an easy task most days but I do it.
I know the Lord helps me each day as well.
Merry Christmas and lets pray 2021 is better for everyone!

This Christmas, I am most thankful to know that God is sovereign and He makes no mistakes.
Thank you for enriching our lives with beauty, wisdom and truths from God’s Word. By the work of your hands, we are truly blessed!

  126. I am so thankful for salvation! April 6, 1980 I gave my heart and life to Jesus Christ. Through the years He has been my strength and my guide. In Sept of 2003 I fell away from God because of a bitter divorce. I lived back as my old self for 10 months. I rededicated my life to Christ once again in July of 2004 and I was blessed beyond measure. This year of course, no thanks to Covid, has been a hard, heartbreaking year. Especially earlier this month. We lost a member of our family by tragedy. But God is a good God who is pulling us through day by day. I also thank God for my 5 beautiful children, my awesome 3 stepchildren and my 19 grandchildren in all! Also I have had the pleasure and opportunity to take care of my elderly mother as of Aug 2020. God is good and He is our source of strength, help, guidance and comfort in a time of uncertainty. Thank you for your blog every morning. I am blessed by it and pray God will continue to bless this ministry that He has placed you in for us woman of God. God bless you and your family!

  127. Cyndi, I follow you more for your spiritual side than the fashion side. I do love your fashion posts, but I always look for your uplifting Christian sentiments and reminders. Thank you for being my inspiration.

  128. I wasn’t able to leave a comment on my raffle entry so I am leaving it here. I am most thankful for Jesus who’s life and sacrifice gives me hope in a dark world. 143. As always I am thankful for close family and endearing friends. But this year I am taken aback, that despite the chaos surrounding us, that I truly feel at peace. That transcending peace can only come from one Source, Jesus Christ. It is Him whom I am very thankful for this year.

  156. Merry Christmas.. gosh I really enjoy saying that. The past couple of day, going to the grocery store and just talking with people, it has given my spirit such a lift to be able to say “Merry Christmas” and feel the spirit of God with me. I am grateful for the love and support of my family and friends especially my sweet husband as I battled covid and was in the hospital.. I was not afraid because I had the peace of God with me and that is my Christmas prayer for all, that they feel the peace of God.

    Tina in California
PS Your grandkids are growing up so fast!

  163. Cyndi, you’re a beautiful soul and your family is beautiful. Wishing each of you a blessed and Merry Christmas. Yes, it’s much different this year but praying we NEVER have another year like this one! It will just be my husband and me. and that’s so sad. We have a daughter & son in law practically next door to us and a son, daughter in law and grandson in Charlotte, NC. Just won’t happen this year! We’re very blessed ourselves though and in a way, this is a more meaningful Christmas, celebrating the birth of Jesus! That’s what it’s all about anyway!

  164. I am thankful for your blog and how you always bring Jesus in your life through all that you do! I appreciate it so much, especially since it seems the world is trying to take Him out of our lives.
I am so thankful for our families even though we haven’t seen much of each other this year; hopefully that will change in 2021.

    1. Merry Christmas to you and your family. I am thankful for the little things that mean so much now. A Christmas card from a friend that I haven’t heard from in years, a homemade treat from a neighbor, seeing an outdoor nativity during a time when a lot of us aren’t attending indoor worship. Things we have often taken for granted, we realize how precious it is and it gives us hope for better days ahead.

  169. Thanks Cyndi, for all you do to keep us ladies up to date fashion and also for pointing us to Christ through your blog. Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family 💕😊.

  170. Merry Christmas, Cyndi! I am so grateful I “found” you on the internet years ago when I needed fresh ideas on how to dress for a mature Christian woman. I’ve appreciated your honesty and inspiration in your posts.

  171. What I’m most thankful for is salvation. God gave us a beautiful world to live in, food, water, families. We have homes, cars, great clothes, money, and so much more. But what if Jesus had never been born to become the ultimate and final sacrifice? What if all we had waiting for us when we drew our last breath was an eternity of darkness without Him? Thank you, Lord for your life and work on the cross. This is the ultimate Christmas gift.

  172. Merry Christmas, Cyndi, and family!

I have been incredibly blessed to follow your blog. Your family is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing them with us.

Thank you for the opportunity to win in your giveaway.

When I entered, it asked me what I was thankful for this Christmas. It wouldn’t let me type my response, so I will tell you here. I am thankful for the love of Jesus and the joy knowing Him brings. He is there with me through the good times and the bad times. Although this has been a difficult year, I’m so grateful that I can go to Him for strength and comfort.

    Big hugs to you!

    Amanda

  173. Cyndi, I found you several years ago and follow you every day. Your fashion style really matches mine and I love your suggestions and offerings. Merry Christmas to you and your family and God’s blessings for a prosperous and Happy New Year!

  174. Thankful for health of my family thru this year. We have 3 nurses in our family who have worked during this pandemic, along with a 17 year old granddaughter who earned her CNA license and has worked at a local nursing home after school and weekends since March. All have been safe from Covid.

  175. I am most thankful this Christmas for all of my kids being home together and the chaos, noise and laughter that we all share. I am also thankful for my loving, steady husband who keeps me sane and loves me in spite of me😉😉 I am very blessed!!!!

  192. I am thankful that this year is almost over. It has been a rough one. I cannot believe how many crises our family has had this past year. Last night I said goodbye to my FIL who died of COVID complications and cancer. So, I have not felt the Christmas spirit. It feels like the year without a Christmas. I don’t even have any decorations up this year. I don’t want to be the depressing person who leaves a comment here. I will say that your emails and blog posts everyday gave me something fun and positive to distract myself through the trials this year. Your words that told me Christ is with us and will get us through anything were a good reminder to trust in Him – always. Although this year has been difficult, I have hope for the next year. Let me just say that these pictures of your family are just beautiful. I hope that you all have a Blessed Christmas.

  193. Thank you for sharing your faith on the blog..

  209. This Christmas I am so thankful for the time we’ve spent together this past year. Having a freshman in high school, I know that had it not been for this pandemic, we would have seen very little of him. So I’m grateful for this extra bit of time we’ve been able to spend with him before we’re too uncool to be around him. LOL!

Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family! And thank you for always being a light in our inboxes!

  210. It is wonderful to see your beautiful family and to hear about your fun times with them. I am thankful for technology! My daughter and son in law live in Sydney, Australia. So getting to see faces and hear voices is a godsend. My grandson just turned 3. He has a baby brother born May of 2020. I was to go and help my daughter with the babies in April and spend a few months with them. Unfortunately Australia locked down and non-citizens are not permitted into the country. Fortunately I can watch the babies grow via FaceTime, Facebook portal and Zoom. My arms just ache to hold that new baby who is now 7 months old. Thank you for bringing light into our difficult days.

  211. Merry Christmas! I am so thankful to be spending time with my family. Praying we all stay healthy and that many will look to Jesus during this Christmas season. So much to be thankful for!

  219. I am so thankful for my family (I know, not very original) – but even just talking to them almost daily on the phone has been uplifting during all these lockdowns.

  220. I am most grateful for having my Lord and Savior to have walked beside me this past year. While He has always been there, it has been a challenging year for all of us, and we were told our first grandchild could possibly be born with major issues. While we were all willing as believers to accept His will, it was so hard, but we trusted Him. The Lord heard our prayers and we now have a precious, normal, healthy baby boy, thank you to answered prayers and His will! It is easy to praise Him now but I would like to believe that thru this I have learned to accept His will and way, no matter what the outcome may be. I have grown as a believer and praise Him more and more each day!! What a wonderful Christmas we will all have with our precious grand baby, celebrating our Savior!!! Merry Christmas to you and yours!!! He reigns!!!
