Beach Vacation | Swimwear

When it comes to beachwear, I like to find comfortable pieces. The beach vacation staples you need are a swimsuit, cover-up, and flip-flops. I love the colors and floral print on this matching set from Amazon! Dress up your look with some matching earrings and a sun hat.

Make sure to pack a beach bag to hold all your extras: sunglasses, sunscreen, book/kindle. This CC Cream is perfect for beach days – it’s lightweight, full coverage, and has SPF.

Beach Vacation | Beauty

I love packing all my beauty essentials for a trip and it’s all about staying organized and finding containers for all your products. I love these clear bags for storing all my skincare – I can easily see everything through the bag without needing to dig around.

Another item I highly recommend is a folding lighted makeup mirror and some deodorant wipes. The mirror has LED lights, perfect for doing my makeup, and the deodorant wipes help keep you fresh after a long day in the sun!

Thank you for stopping by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart™They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity—all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved. Acts 2:46-47

Truth: I love how the believers in Acts regularly met together, not only to worship but to eat together. They came together around a table of food and shared life.

Gathering together with family and friends is important for us too! There’s something about eating together that draws us closer to each other. This week, make time to sit with family or friends and break bread together. Put your phones away and sit together and share life.

Let your beauty shine from the inside out today!

  1. PLEASE! Do a shoe post. I am petite. Shoes are so important to petite sizing. We can’t wear shoes that cut us off. Then finding shoes that are comfortable but give us some height can be a shopping dilemma. Thanks!

  2. I would definitely like a shoe post! I struggle when needing a flat comfortable sandal / flip flop to wear without being too dressy or too beach like! Especially with shorts and dresses!

  3. Would love any past about shoes but esp how to wear regular colored shoes, ie black, tan, grey, blue with non matching clothing colors…. this is where I get stuck is non matchy matchy stuff

  4. Love the swimsuit and cover up . Sandals are so cute also but just too high for me but I may be able to find flat ones with the jute trim around bottom .

  5. Yes! I would love a shoe post! Looking for lower heel and comfortable to wear but stylish!

I enjoy reading your post every day. You are such an inspiration to us all.

  6. Great post! I am gearing up for a 14 day cruise to the Caribbean in April. Super good tips and products.

I am a shoe addict. When my husband and I moved, I couldn’t believe how many shoes/boxes of shoes I had. I agree that shoes change an outfit and I think that is why I am so obsessed with them. 🙂

  7. I love your idea for a post about shoes – which shoes. I feel like shoes are a really weak spot in my closet.

  8. I love shoes and would love the post you want to do. I have the hardest time packing to go anywhere as I want to bring wayyyyyy too many shoes. Comfort and stylish are hard to find but I found black sketcher ones last Summer that worked with shorts, but I only like them with certain clothes. lol. I don’t like to feel frumpy. I’d never make it on the Rick Steves trips. lol.

  9. Love the BFTH today, so very true be present and enjoy people in person, we are meant to be social!

I WOULD LOVE a shoe post. A quick little story…I work in a 16,000 sq ft warehouse with cement floors. We have a restaurant as part of it, so the floors can get slippery at times. I had a client meeting last Thursday, and decided to wear shoe boots with about a 2.5 inch heel. Thursday morning, I went in the back of work to fetch something, As I walked back to the front of the warehouse, which is also the back side of the restaurant kitchen, I proceeded to step on something with my shoe heel, that caused me to fall onto my left knee really hard, and continue into the splits with my right leg. Mind you, I am not a clutz, in my younger years I was a gymnast. Yes, I pulled/strained all kinds of muscles and ligaments from my rump all the way down my right leg! Let’s just say, the varying degrees of black and blue since the injury occurred, continue to change daily, and I’m in a great deal of pain. All this to say, I have worn those shoes numerous times, and have never fallen before. Shoes make or break an outfit, but be careful what you wear wherever you work or are employed! It will take alot of time to heal, and I pray I don’t have any permanent damage/injury, and I’m thanking Jesus I didn’t hit my head!

  10. I would love to read a post about shoes and how to pick the right pair for the outfit! I love shoes and I know they will make or break an outfit, but I don’t always feel like I have the correct styles for what I regularly wear.
