My Picks From the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Well, in case you haven’t heard by now it’s public access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. There are so many good deals but let’s be honest most of us can’t spend thousands of dollars on fall clothes.

It is a good time to stock up on a few fall pieces. My favorites are the barefoot dreams cardigan, AG jeans, these booties, these leopard print flats and I like this handbag that’s under $40.

I know $149 is still a lot to pay for jeans, but after the sale, they go up to $225. Hands down these are my favorite jeans (I’m wearing a size 28)!

Also, Zella has a newer version of joggers on sale, and they’re my favorite joggers. They are so comfortable and soft (I’m wearing a small).

I’m so honored that you have taken time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and my favorite one, Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~“God is the God of “right now.” He doesn’t want you sitting around regretting yesterday. Nor does He want you wringing your hands and worrying about the future. He wants you focusing on what He is saying to you and putting in front of you … right now.”  -Priscilla Shirer

So be very careful how you live, not being like those with no understanding, but live honorably with true wisdom, for we are living in evil times. Take full advantage of every day as you spend your life for his purposes. -Ephesians 5:15-16

Have a blessed day!

  1. I ordered 3 of the Madewell cardigans in three different colours. The shoulder seams were barely put together, see-through, and in my opinion very cheap quality. Vince or Nordstrom cardigans are the best for your money. They are good quality and hold up for many years.

  2. I got the Leith cardigan in spice and I’m just going to use what I have from last fall.

  3. really nice photo of Lauren and Claire(sp) Lauren is looking particularly pretty. prettiness does not show any signs of new baby sleeplessness.
    thank you for sharing.
I am listening to some new to me sermons and there was an emphasis on prayer today..

  4. Cindy, I noticed lots of booties and noticed I am seeing more in stores with low heels. Is that a trend you see happening more?

  5. Your grand baby is adorable and her mommy looks great:) I’m just starting to pick up some transitional pieces as I can’t get into fall yet… too hot and sunny. I was going to order a few things but after reviews on what I was looking at and the Cost for me( duties and taxes) on top of shipping.. it really didn’t help with any overall savings … have a great weekend.

  6. Thank you for acknowledging God: That was an awesome blessing statement you gave at the end! It definitely lets us know that God’s Love and Will for us all is the source for living well!

  7. Your Claire is so adorable. Well……so is Courtney. 🙂 You are blessed. I know we all go through trials but hopefully our blessings out shine though. I think of you often as you are going through what you are with Wayne’s parents. I’ve been through it already with my husbands parents, they are gone now and my dad, also gone and my mom is in a home with dementia. Its so very tough but each year has also brought many blessings with my 3 kids. My son just got married in June and it was so beautiful. My girls are married also and now just waiting for those grand babies myself. 🙂 Thanks for the Nord. update. 🙂

  8. Your granddaughter is precious and your daughter looks wonderful as well. Little did she know a few years ago when she was experiencing struggles what the Good Lord has in store for her. Now we all know😊
So I ordered the Vince Camuto Booties and I’m still not sure I will like the 4inch heel but I’m short and the height might do me some good?

  9. I appreciate your blog the more I read it! I’ve never commented before, but today I need to say thanks for keeping us updated on fun fashion trends, but also, thank you so much for continually pointing out that there is so much more to life than fashion and how we look. I feel like the blogging world has been all hype about the Nordstrom sale and quite frankly ,I’m tired of it. When I’ve tried to log on (as a card member shopping early), so many things are sold out already—before the sale even went public. And I mean, c’mon—the deals and the fashion are fun, but really??? I found myself getting wrapped up in the hype of all the blog promotions of the sale, and yours is a breath of fresh air. Thanks for keeping it real, realizing that most of us can’t afford to spend thousands of dollars on clothes every season. What truly matters is what’s in our hearts and how we live each day and how we honor those we love and love us:) I love me some skinny jeans, but I love having a happy hubby and no credit card debt even more!!
