Old Navy Rockstar Jeans-Winter Fashion

Welcome back to my 25 Days of Winter Fashion! It’s amazing the difference a day can make. Yesterday I was all dressed up and today I have on Old Navy Rockstar jeans and they’re ripped!

I know everyone doesn’t love the ripped jean look but they have grown on me. They are a young, trendy look and while I’m not young, I like to be trendy. Haha!

The good news is I didn’t break the bank on these jeans. They’re priced at $34.94 but they’re 40% off which makes them around $21! They honestly feel like a designer jean and I don’t typically like Old Navy jeans.

Let’s talk about my earrings. One of my readers suggested I try Nickel & Suede earrings after I talked about heavy earrings. I have no idea what I have not ordered these before!!

These earrings are so light you will never know you have them in. Not kidding!! I’m going to order several more pair. I absolutely love them!

These are the earrings of the month and you can find them here. I’m wearing the medium size. Make sure you check out all the different styles here.

I couldn’t do a winter fashion series and not style some plaid. This plaid top is from Loft.

  1. Cyndi, you look very cute. And i loved yesterdays outfit. Have a happy Thanksgiving!!! Im going to try not to eat tooooo much 😄

  2. You are rocking the ripped jeans! Love it! I also love the earrings on you too. I have followed OLM for awhile and have debated on these. I knew I’d love the weight, but wasn’t sure if I would like the size. I may try a small size if they have any. 🙂

    1. I was also concerned about the size and went with sz. small, love them! I do have two pair of cut-outs in sz. medium and love those too. Go for it Holli!

  3. You’re looking Very, Very cute in this “Western-y” outfit. I love the rich browns and the beautiful blues together. I just wore a blouse similar to this one but in black and white with red stitching on front. I found it at our Tractor Supply…Yep, I will shop for clothing in any store and buy an item if it catches my eye…
Just ordered a pair of red heels, and last week in Lexington bought a pair of red flats. God Bless and Happy Thanks giving to you too !!!!!

  4. Cyndi just checked out the jeans. They are on sale for $17.47! Score!! Love your blog and your style. Thank you and have a fabulous Thanksgiving!

  5. Yeah! I’m so glad you love the N&S earrings! I knew you would! The cuffs, chokers, and apparel are great too! I have the London tan wrap cuff (along with several earrings), camo tee, and leopard knit infinity scarf. Check those items out too.

  6. Well, the picture of class yesterday and the picture of relaxation today. Perfection both days! I’ve seen those boots in Target, and thought about them – they look great in your pics so I may have to reconsider. Also like this vest. My daughter wants one for Christmas so this may be a great option.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving – safe travels for your sister too! Be blessed!
Looking forward to your post tomorrow 🙂

  7. Hi Cyndi -So glad you discovered Nickel & Suede! Consider this fair warning…..their earrings are addictive!! I have about 10 pairs! Two more arrived in the mail yesterday in fact. 🙂

Reading your dàily post is the first thing I do everyday. Love this oufit today.

    Happy Thanksgiving !

  8. Thanks for featuring the Rockstar jeans. I’ve been on the fence about them but I’m going to get some! I’ve got several pairs of N&S and love them. I also discovered Brinley and Co on Etsy. Leather earring too….more styles and CHEAPER! She’s having a BOGO Black Friday sale. She’s @brinleyandco on IG. I’m ordering some for gifts!

  9. Hello Cyndi,🙋🏻
Let me say that I’m not going to chatter away and say that you always look good in everything… that wouldn’t be the truth! With that being said, the shirt will look nice with a decent pair of pants (not torn) and the style of the vest does nothing for you,it just hangs there.A less exaggerated pair of pretty earrings would also look great! A friend doesn’t tell you just what you want to hear…
Before I forget, the black dress with the red high here looks beautiful!
Have a blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving!

    In His kingdom,

    1. I tend to agree that I don’t really care for ripped jeans or the sherpa vest either. However, Cyndi did give me a good idea for styling a fur vest I have. AND the black dress with the red pumps IS BEAUTIFUL on you!

  10. Love this look!! Thank you so much for the great Christmas idea by N&S. I’ll be buying these in the school colors for my boss’s high school and college kids! Thank you, Cyndi.

  11. I really like Old Navy Rockstar Jeans! I appreciate both the price and the fact that I can buy them online in tall sizes! That’s one thing I like about Old Navy- a multitude of sizes is available. And, for me, fit is consistent. I know I can order 16 tall, and they will fit each time. Well, this sounds like an Old Navy commercial! I just thought some of your readers might like to know about the tall sizes. And for them, note that tall is different from long. With long you get longer legs. With tall, you get longer throughout the pants.

    1. That is so good to know about ‘tall’ vs. ‘long’. I usually need longer throughout the pants rather than longer just in the legs. Thanks for sharing!

      1. You’re welcome, Lisa! Me, too. A sales associate explained that to me in one of their stores. She said the “long” jeans are generally made for women to wear with heels. For length in the stride as well, we need a “tall”. Glad the info was helpful to you, too!

  12. I think you look darling in this outfit today. I personally love Old Navy jeans. I love that I can get cute, comfortable, well fitting jeans for a great price. I get compliments on the ON jeans way more than when I wear the more expensive brands.

  13. Cyndi, good morning!

Oh I love this outifit and I loved the black dress and red shoes from yesterday>>just stunning!

Hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I will Praise the name of God with a song; I will magnify Him with Thanksgiving!

  14. You’re as cute as the day is long. Wow..where are you posing? I want to move there. The Old Navy jeans are pretty great on you. I like a girlfriend, looser cut, like a cowboy type jean, if you know what I mean.

  15. Hi Cyndi! I have been without internet service all day, so I’m late checking in. Thank goodness for my Verizon Jetpack. I really like this outfit. I so wish my ankles and feet felt good in booties, so that I could wear them more than one hour.

Even though this is the first Thanksgiving without my mom and less than two weeks before Larry begins chemo, I have so much to be thankful for.

God bless you and your family! Happy Thanksgiving!

  16. Very cute fall outfit. I’m with you on trying trendy items if they don’t cost a lot, this way I don’t feel so bad if I don’t wear it the next year. And I am in my fifties 😉

  17. So happy you found Nickel & Suede, I live right outside of Liberty, MO and they are all the rage here! The women all over town wear them!! I have several colors and I keep getting more. My favorite size is the small but they are all so cute. They are so lightweight and do not pull on your earlobes at all!
