Relaxed Summer Pieces with Gap Factory

This post is sponsored by Gap Factory & Collective Voice.

If you’re like me and dreaming of summer, Gap Factory has a fantastic collection of relaxed summer pieces to prepare us for the season.

White Top + Linen Blend Pants

The combination of a white top and linen pants is a summer staple for a reason. It’s a timeless outfit that’s comfortable, stylish, and perfect for warm weather. Linen is a natural fiber known for being breathable and lightweight, making it ideal for hot summer days.

A crisp white shirt is a casual and effortless option. This top has lace detailing with drawcord ties at the split neckline.

I always have a jacket, and this puff sleeve denim jacket is perfect for wearing with my outfit.

Crochet Top + Linen Blend Shorts

Next, crochet tops are trending for spring and summer. This beige flutter sleeve top is almost sold out, but the red color is still available. This top is a similar option and comes in several colors.

Some of the tops with larger holes need a tank under them, and I think this one does. Gap Factory has the same color tank as this top, called bedrock beige, that will work perfectly underneath.

These linen-blend pull-on shorts are comfortable and come in lots of colors. I’m wearing the washed sage color.

Beauty For the Heart®The LORD said, ‘Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the LORD, for the LORD is about to pass by. ‘Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.” 1 Kings 19:11-12, NIV

Truth: The Lord told Elijah to stand on the mountain in His presence, but He didn’t come in the ways Elijah (or we) would have expected: in a wind, earthquake, or even a fire. He came in a gentle whisper.

In Hebrew, the phrase for “gentle whisper” is Kol D’mama Daka, meaning “the sound of thin silence.” That’s where the Lord meets us: in the silence.

Bob Goff says, “Prepare your heart by stilling what has been distracting you. Jesus won’t try to shout over the noise in our lives.”

Today, let’s quiet our hearts so we can hear His gentle whisper.

  1. That’s too funny about the tank! I’ve seen that in store and thought the same thing it’s going to need a tank! I might reconsider it now seeing how cute it is on and looks nice with linen shorts.

  2. That is funny what your photographer said to you. I guess she knows ladies and their comments and how they can be. I love a white top, no matter the style. Its just so easy to throw on with jeans, shorts, linen pants etc. I’m always thinking I need another white top or tee. 🙂 You look great in everything you put on. Really!!!!!

  3. You look great! Love the linen pants & white top, very coastal chic! I just ordered a similar crochet top from gap, hopefully I have a tank that will work.

  4. The crochet top is cute and doesn’t look indecent. I have a crochet top that definitely need a tank underneath.

  5. I love Ray Stevens.
My favorite song of his is the one where the squirrel got loose in the church on Sunday morning.Have a great week.

  6. Hi Cyndi,
I am so pleased to hear that you will be taking Sundays off.
Modern technology is wonderful, but being available to work constantly is not.
How terrific to take a day for yourself, family, friends, and worship.
I truly hope this starts a new trend for all of us.
