Spring Trend to Try: Stripes

Welcome to a new week! Today, I’d like to share a spring trend worth trying – stripes. This season, stripes are everywhere and more vibrant than ever before!

From flowy maxi dresses to stylish jackets and breezy button-downs, stripes are gracing every fashion item. Whether you want to channel nautical vibes or make a statement with a head-to-toe striped ensemble, stripes are a versatile and effortlessly stylish way to welcome the warm weather.

I found this classic striped button-down at J.Crew, and it’s currently 30% off. This is a great transitional outfit when the weather starts to warm up.

This woven tote is a great everyday bag.

These patch-pocket wide-leg jeans are from Macy’s and are under $60.

I added this gold bauble necklace from J.Crew Factory to my outfit. It’s a great chunky necklace. You can find my gold earrings here.

Beauty For the Heart™But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him. Acts 12:5

Truth: In this passage in the book of Acts, believers gathered and prayed for Peter. He was going to be killed, but when they prayed, something miraculous happened. Peter’s chains fell off, and the locked doors opened.

God doesn’t need our prayers, but he uses them. There is always more going on than we can see or know, and our prayers make a difference!

  1. We are just dreaming of spring today as we dig out from 50 cm of snow that fell from Friday afternoon until it stopped sometime overnight! Today it’s -10 Celsius with the wind! So my stripe outfits are on hold! I bought a few new stripe pieces last year so glad they’ll be trending again! Love the jeans!!

  2. Love stripes in spring & summer! They are a little nautical, a little French style, so much fun! I especially love long sleeved t’s, and short sleeved t’s. The sweaters are cute too! Great selection for changing weather, and i live in the northeast, so one spring day 40’, another spring day 60’!!! Great picks! Thanks!

  3. You look terrific in all the outfits. I really like the jeans. (Stripes can be flattering on me, but they have to go vertically. Horizontal stripes make me feel and look big if the stripes are too wide.) Thanks for all the time and effort you put into these daily posts!! They really are helpful in more ways than one! I especially love the Beauty For The Heart section. 💝✝️ That’s what it’s all about.

  4. Love the outfit on you. I bought a stripe button down shirt from JCrew factory recently. It’s in green stripes since I look better in green than blue. With my rewards coupon I paid only $15. It was on clearance too. I also bought a horizontal stripe T-shirt. So yes I will be participating in that trend. It’s a classic look and so French.

  5. Good morning lovely Cyndi 🥰
I really love the striped look on you 😍
And I just got the striped pink blouse from J. C Crew , I Love It !!
    It’s beautiful 😍
    Have a Blessed Day

  6. Love the jeans. I wish the website told the length and the rise. I’m shorter than you, so they might be too long and it would ruin the hem to hem them. I might order and try anyways. I have a pink stripe blouse from LOFT from last year that I plan to bring out soon. We have been sunny and warm lately in the NW, so its making me crave Spring. I do like the stripe trend and will be on board. You look great in this outfit. I’m glad you featured the handbag again, as I’m interested and couldn’t find your earlier post featuring it.
