Striped Top with Black Jeans

Happy hump day! It always feels good to have made it through half the week especially when you’ve checked off a bunch of your to-dos.

Today I’m styling a striped top with the tie cuff jeans from LOFT that I shared with you yesterday. I love these black jeans! I wore this outfit all day yesterday, and the jeans do not stretch out at all. They’re still 40% off.

The striped top is BP Brand from Nordstrom and is under $40. I didn’t get a picture of the back (I meant to!), but it buttons down the back. If you click over to Nordstrom’s website, you can see the back.

Striped Top with Black JeansOkay, I wore this all day, but I added this cozy cardigan from LOFT. I purchased this cardigan last year, and I wear it all the time. I wear it more at home over my pajamas because it’s so warm! Unfortunately, it’s no longer available.

Striped Top with Black JeansWarmer days call for wedge sandals, and these wedges go with everything plus they’re comfortable. They have great reviews!

Striped Top with Black JeansI love this clutch, and it goes with all your spring and summer outfits. I’m carrying the small size.

Striped Top with Black JeansThis top is roomy, and I could have worn an XS, but I felt like it would be too short. I went with the small, and I think it works.

  1. I think our sizes are about the same, do you wear the regular size for Loft pants and jeans or the curvy? I love the black tie jeans!

  2. What a nice outfit Cyndi, and you look so great in it! I hate when jeans get baggy in places they shouldn’t, during the day. Enjoy getting all gussied up today! Can’t wait to see pictures of your new home. Peace Be With You!

  3. Very pretty outfit on you, Cyndi!

I wanted to share that I’m doing intermittent fasting and I’m so hungry. Any tips on succeeding on the program?

    1. Drink all the liquids! Water, tea, or coffee. With time your body will get used to it! And if your starving you can change your eating window times by moving up when you eat an hour and stopping an hour earlier at the end of the day. Hope that helps!

  4. Oh I am so over winter… these cute outfits are inspiring me but I need the weather to cooperate. It looks like next week we will be in the double digits which means 50’s yahoo!!! Good by winter coat… can’t waitvto see pics of your new house… love the ruffled top I’m so I ruffles Gal:)
    Enjoy your day.
Such a true BFTH no need to hold grudges

  5. I use to not like wearing ruffles, but there styling them so cute now, i really like the way your top buttons down the back

  6. I guess I always felt you had to wear black shoes with black pants but I do like the neutral. The things we learn in blogs. Ha. Cute outfit.

  7. Cute outfit. The top looks so much better on you than on the model. The ruffled sleeves add a feminine touch and I like that they drapes over your shoulder, a nice look.

Thanks for offering to prepare a blog on your hair cut, routine, products, etc. I look forward to seeing it when you get moved into your new home. Lots of exciting times are ahead for you with new grandbaby and new home.

    God is good.

  8. Cute spring outfit! My question is about the purse. I love it, but was wondering about the functionality. I notice you are showing it empty. What keeps your items from showing and falling through the openings like keys for instance? Was curious if you actually used it and how much you liked it. Was thinking maybe a round straw bag might make more sense.

    1. I have used it with a few items in it without them falling out. You can also add a cute scarf in the clutch to keep items in and not exposed:) I do love it!!
