Beauty For the Heart~~“It is important to remember that anytime you feel the need to begin a conversation with the words, “I probably shouldn’t tell you this, but . . .” it’s almost always a conversation that shouldn’t happen at all.

So, if you feel the need to say, “I probably shouldn’t say this . . .” then DON’T! Just hush. That little nudge you are feeling is probably the Holy Spirit saying, “Don’t go there. You’re going to regret the words you’re about to speak.” Or as King David wrote, “Muzzle it!” – Robert Morris, The Power of Your Words

Have a blessed day!

  1. I have read Pastor Morris’s book and you will love it. It is for sure a work in progress for me on many things especially words, The power of words we speak over our situations and children are so important. Speak good words over a child and you will watch them soar! Speak good things into a situation and watch your attitude change However speak negative and that opens the door for the enemy. Hope you have a great weekend! Thank you for all you do!

  2. I’m not there for sure. A few years ago my New Years resolution was to say positive things that I typically think, but don’t say. I want to read this book. Thank you, Cyndi!

  3. I love this outfit! Comfy and cozy looking! 😍

Your BFTH is so true. Let’s all strive to speak love or nothing at all. ❤️🙏🏻

  4. Cute outfit and it always amazes me how your jeans fit perfectly in length and style with all the different boots you wear. I really like the boots and ordered some last year that you styled from Rack Room but need to focus on Christmas gifts now and not myself. But I may invest in that book for myself 😉

  5. Thank you for your book suggestion – I will order it!

I vowed when I had my daughter that she would never learn about gossip or talking bad about someone behind their back from me … it’s a daily struggle because it seems so prevalent in our society. Finding a wonderful and positive way to be truthful is difficult but it is a goal worth achieving

  6. Thanks for sharing the boot sale.

I totally agree about the holy spirit nudging us to not go there. I’m so proud of myself when I listen, but sadly sometimes I don’t. Obedience is a tough one sometimes. Thank you for sharing BFTH everyday.

    Have a blessed weekend!

  7. LOVE those booties! Perfect for the mountains of Western Pennsylvania! I have a similar pair and they see a lot of action.

I’m going to explore the book you mentioned. Sounds like a great message. Our former pastor taught us to T. H. I. N. K before speaking….ask yourself if what you are about to say is True, Helpful, Inspiring, Necessary, & Kind. If your comment doesn’t pass each of those tests…best to not say it! This has saved me more than a few times! Thank you for all you do & enjoy your weekend!

    1. Love these boots. In you blog you said to order a half size larger. In the one comment, she said they were true to size. Don’t know which way to go. Did you get them a half size larger? Might be safe to have them s little larger and just wear thicker socks but would like to know what you did. Want to order soon before they are sold out because they are so darned cute! Thanks for your encouraging words. Will be working on being more positive and kind in the new year!

  8. Your outfit looks so cozy and warm. Thanks for mentioning the book. I went right out to Amazon and ordered for my Kindle.

  9. I adore this outfit Cyndi! Even more I love the quote! I ordered the top, the boots and the book. Thanks so much for sharing- I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  10. Love this outfit… I just bought two pairs of lower heeled boots that are also warm. Plus rack room shoes doesn’t ship to Canada yet which is too bad as I would add these to my collection. Our pastor has had messages as of late on the tongue, gossip and forgiveness. I couldn’t think of a book idea for my stocking so just put this on the list. Thanks:)
    Have a great weekend

  11. Hi I love all of your outfits. My question has to do with your comment that you were going to go to a micro-needling appointment. I’m going to my first micro-needling appointment next week. I was wondering how long you have been doing it & have you seen results? Or any discomfort? Just wondering.
