Summer Fashion-Active Wear

Happy Saturday friends! It’s day 26 of my 31 days of summer fashion. Today I thought I’d share some active wear with you from Target.

I’m not an avid exerciser. I want to be, but I don’t always take the time. I do try to work out with small weights and I walk and use Denise Austin DVD’s.

Summer Fashion-Active WearThis shirt from Target is so comfortable and soft. I’m going to order a couple more colors.

Summer Fashion-Active WearTarget has cute active wear and you don’t have to spend a lot of money.

Where do you purchase your active wear? Have you bought any from Target?

Beauty For the Heart~~I’m sure many of you are following the news about Israel. I’ve never been to Israel but my husband has been twice and he’s dying to go back. He loves it there.

My heart is burdened for Israel. Scripture says,“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! May they be secure who love you!” Psalm 122:6

We need to support Israel. Would you pray for them today?

Have a blessed day!

  1. Great choices! I have found good stuff at old navy and gap as well! And I love your background by the way- is that your backyard? So pretty!

  2. I get mine exercise clothes at Target and Kohls. I love exercise cloths, sometimes I put it on when I clean the house. It just makes feel like going at the cleaning with a little more energy.

  3. Kohls has great deals on active wear when it’s on sale (but really, who ever buys anything at Kohls that’s not on sale). Also, I’ve gotten some amazing deals at T.J. Maxx. You have to search, but so worth it!

  4. I just sold five of those Target T-s at a yard sale. I like them but they pill fast.

My all time favorite running compression knee pants are Zella at Nordstrom. They go on sale once a year and that’s now. LOVE them so much I just ordered another pair.

I work with a college ministry so t-shirts abound. Bottoms are my challenge.

  5. I have many friends who have been to Israel, in fact two of them give tours but as of yet, I’ve not been. I hope to visit one day though. Israel needs our prayers and our support especially at the moment. They are God’s chosen and we are called to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and to bless them.

I shop mostly at Kohl’s for my active wear, there are such cute styles to choose from these days. I’ll have to check out Target! Have a happy weekend! 🙂

  6. I really like your outfit. I have bought activewear from Target many times and always liked what I’ve got. Particularly their shorts. Also, Penney’s has really nice t-shirts similar to the one you are wearing on sale quite often and I’ve picked up quite a few that way. I am looking for better athletic shoes though and am open to any suggestions. Thanks Cyndi.

  7. I am not an avid exerciser either. I do love to walk and ride my bike. I have found that Kohls has great active wear. I like the Tek Gear brand. I am a credit card holder, so I wait to get my 30% off coupon and then I head over to the store. Normally, Tek Gear is on sale from 30-50% off, so with that and a coupon you can often get a shirt and pair of shorts for about 12.00 total. They seem to last a long time as well.

Anyway, I’ve been loving your series. I can’t believe you are already on day 26. Where is the time going?

  8. Like your outfit. I have had good luck with active wear at Target. Will give Kohl’s a look see. I wear Merrill running shoes although I am not a runner. Their shoes are comfortable and light weight. For exercise try slow motion weight training – I workout 20 minutes two times a week. Easy to fit in a busy schedule and the results are excellent.

  9. Hi Cyndi.

I like Target’s fitness wear, but I have found that I can get Nike for the same price at places like TJ Maxx. I do like Nike, but my all time favorite is Athleta. I never buy it for myself, but I ask for it at Christmas and on my birthday. My husband usually buys me a pair of Athleta pants and an Athleta top for Christmas. I wear fitness clothes at least 6 times a week, and the Athleta clothes still look new. I will say that I had a pair of Pants and jacket from Target, and I loved them. They were black and stayed nice for over two years. Another great place is Fabletics.com.

Thanks for sharing! You look cute, as always.
    Gina
