Summer Fashion-Business Casual

Well, I’m having fun at the Haven Conference but I should have taken pictures before I left home! One of my blogger friends snapped some pictures for me with my iphone. 🙂 It’s day 12 of my 31 days of summer fashion.

One of the things you all have said you wanted to see was business casual outfits. Banana Republic is a great store for business casual. They also have great sales.

I happened to pop in on a day they were having 40% off of the entire purchase so I bought this top and ankle pants. This is the perfect time of year to get some basic summer pieces.

These wedge heels are b.o.c brand and they’re very comfortable. Always a plus!

I wanted to share this picture of Tracey. She’s a blogger and faithful reader of my blog. She blogs at Versatile Style by Tracey. She looks great in this peplum top!

Do you try to shop end of the season sales?

  1. Glad you are having fun at Haven! Love your look today…especially the top and necklace (oh, and your friend Tracey looks super cute, too!). 🙂 I always shop end of season sales…if it isn’t on sale, I don’t buy it! Would love for you to show us how you style for a backyard BBQ with friends…hosting a BBQ for my adult friends soon and not sure what to wear…want to look stylish but not overdone. HELP!

  2. Nice outfit! I love teal and tan. I also love to see you post outfits like this because I believe every single woman who reads your blog would look pretty in tan ankle pants and a teal top with a necklace of their choice. Nice to also see Tracey’s picture. After noticing her regular comments on your blog, I checked out hers and now enjoy it, too.

  3. Cyndi , thank you for including me in today’s post. A wonderful neutral bottom with a colored top and extra pop of color with a statement necklace is a great formula for anyone who wishes to try this out. I shop off season clearance, meaning now for Fall/ Winter.

  4. Tracey, I love your pants! Where did you find them? I’ve been mulling over the idea of soft, flowy pants. They look super comfy and cute.
