Transitioning My Shoes From Summer To Fall

Happy hump day, ladies! It’s hard to believe this time next will be September. While I’ll still wear short sleeves and even sleeveless tops, I like to begin transitioning my shoes from summer to fall.

It doesn’t mean I won’t wear my sandals at all, but I will start wearing mules, sneakers, and even peep-toe booties more and more.

I recently purchased these mules, and I’ve already worn them several times. Mules and flats are a great transition shoe.

Here are some more mules for the early fall season.

Sneakers are another great option, and they happen to be right on-trend for the fall season. I love to add sneakers to my outfits, and the slip-on sneakers I’m wearing are from Walmart, and they’re $15.

Here are some sneakers for the early fall season.

Another option for the upcoming fall season is open toe booties. I’m wearing a pair from Sole Society that’s no longer available. I linked some more options below.

Outfit Details

V-Neck Sweater (I’m wearing a small)//Kut From the Kloth Jeans (I’m wearing a size 4)//Mule (size up 1/2 size)//Sneakers (TTS)//Booties (no longer available)//Earrings//Necklace//Necklace

Here are some booties for the early fall season.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

  1. yes where did the summer go? I have a pair of mules like the ones you are wearing today only mine were from Target last year. I like having the mules to transition with… Love the sweater, perfect fall color. Would like to see handbag transitions too? Thanks

  2. After you featured the Time and Tru Snake Skin Twin Gore Slipons from Walmart I went over to our local Walmart to see if they had them in the store because I cannot buy shoes on line and they did. OMG, they are so cute and comfortable. I absolutely love them. I was surprised to find out that they carry a whole bunch of really cute shoes. And all their shoes have nice padded insoles making their shoes really comfy. I will be wearing these with my Walmart $12.97 Time and Tru Jeggins. So ladies, for the price, you cannot go wrong checking out Walmart’s shoes. Have fun!

  3. Yes now is a good take to think about transition shoes. I almost ordered those sneakers from Walmart but I am in between sizes so I went to try them on and noticed they had a lot of gold specks in them. Does not show in the pics and just as I thought the size 6 would slip out when I walked. 🙁

  4. Oh, my goodness! After reading your blog post, I ran over to Walmart and picked up a pair of those slip on sneakers. I just wore them for the first time today, and I received compliments from two random ladies as I was out and about doing errands! I’m almost 60, so this type of shoe is not my usual vibe. I’m so glad that your post nudged me out of my comfort zone. Thank you! Some people think that trying to stay fashionable is a bit frivolous during these tumultuous times, but I’m glad to be able to get out of my house clothes, fix my hair, and put on a bit of jewelry and makeup, even if I’m just doing errands. 🙂
