Two Casual Spring Outfits

Happy Tuesday! Well, the weather has been pretty bad here, so I decided to snap some mirror selfies of a couple of casual spring outfits.

I have a casual skirt and a casual dress that I’m packing for our upcoming cruise. Or at least I think I’m packing, I’m still gathering my outfits, and I don’t want to overpack so I may end up not taking one of them.

Two Casual Spring Outfits

My white tee is Madewell brand, and it’s a pretty good one. Thick enough that it doesn’t need a tank under it.

Next up is this crepe dress. I’m wearing flat sandals, but it would look good with a cute pair of wedge sandals.

Two Casual Spring Outfits The dress comes in several different colors including black. I already have several casual black dresses, so I picked a different color.

Two Casual Spring OutfitsMental note: Make sure I get the dust off my mirror. I promise I couldn’t see it until I took these pictures. Haha! My earrings are no longer available, but they’re from Baublebar.

Which do you prefer, a casual skirt or a casual dress?

Make sure you head over to Jo-Lynne’s blog and see what she’s styling for spring fashion!

Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m on FacebookPinterest, and my favorite one, Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~What are we doing today that will further the Kingdom? We are the hands and feet of Christ. He has put us here at this time in history to share His message, the Good News!

Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. 1 Corinthians 12:27

I don’t want to miss the opportunities that He is putting in front of me. Today, I’m looking for ways to share Christ. Will you join me?

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19

Have a blessed day!

  1. These are 2 of my favorite looks, ever! BTW, I’ve always wondered why bloggers are so apologetic when you can’t take outdoor shots. Indoor selfies suit me just fine. And we get to see inside your house as a bonus! MAKE IT a great day!

  2. I’m posting the BFH on my mirror as reminder to start my day committed to serving Christ! I really like both outfits, so comfortable for a vacation or a summer BBQ! I always say a dusty mirror helps hide the flaws! LOL

  3. Great outfits! Love the color of that dress!, I hope you have fun on your trip. I would love to hear what your diet and fitness lifestyle is now – do you follow the FWTFL program still? Strictly? Or more relaxed? As we know maintaining out results is sometimes harder than losing the weight and getting strong. Thanks so much for sharing!

  4. I love both outfits on you! For me, I don’t really wear skirts but love just putting on a casual dress and I’m ready to go! No dealing with what top to put with a skirt.

  5. Both outfits are super cute, although the first one would be my choice. I can’t imagine you packing for a trip with all your choices. LOL have fun. I love the Tory Burch sandals, may have to check out their outlet while in Florida. We are waiting for part of the Nor’easter to hit us later today. More snow than changing to rain… Yes bring on spring please. Love the BFTH.
I also don’t mind your indoor pictures either. As long as I get to see your outfits.
    Have a great day

  6. Both cute outfits – I’d wear either if they looked that good on me :-)!
Enjoy your upcoming cruise, I’m hoping you share some fun pics with us – either while you’re there or when you return.
I’m interested in how you’re maintaining your weight / diet/ etc. too. You look fantastic!

  7. Cyndi~We are headed on a cruise next month and I would love for you to share any packing tips. I’ve scoured Pinterest and I really like the idea of putting outfits for each day in a (2) gallon ziplock bag. Have you ever tried this?
You look great and these are perfect for a cruise 🙂

  8. Both look cute. Love the dress! I really love your comforter and have been looking for one in that color. Where did you get it? Can you send me a link pleaese?

  9. Really love both outfits equally. The thing I try to avoid in hot weather is having anything around my waist.
Both looks are a nice alternative to shorts, while not being too short.
    You are such a cutie!

  10. Love both outfits. Just wanted to verify the color of the dress. Is it the Vintage indigo color? Question…..neither the dress or skirt look as short on you as the model. I like them to come just slightly above the knee…..not short. I’m 5’3″ Do you think the dress would be long enough? It says it runs large, so thinking of ordering the XS and S to decide. Have a fun vacation. Our weekend and Monday here in the NW was high 60’s to low 70’s and today is 50’s and pouring down rain. We always get a good Spring tease and then back to rain. 🙁 At least we aren’t having any snow. Bless you.

    1. I think they would work for you because I’m 5’6. I will not dry clean. I will wash on delicate cycle and hang to dry. Thanks Kathy!!

  11. Over here in California we are praying for rain and snow. I’m pinying for weather that resembles winter. I love wearing casual dresses with wedges. Thanks for your blog.

  12. Cyndi, Here in Sunny California ( in the Sierra Nevada’s )it is snowing . It is quite beautiful and quiet. Your outfits are darling. Whichever one you take will be perfect. I hope you and Wayne have a great time with beautiful weather.

  13. Cyndi, I just love both of these outfits, especially the first one! I have two little boys, and it seems like the perfect mommy look for me! Thanks for your inspiration, and have a wonderful time on your cruise!
