You Are Not Invisible To God

I wonder if you feel like no one notices you? Do you ever feel lonely even when you are in a crowd?

Sharing how even when we feel alone, God is with us.Do you ever feel like:

  • No one notices the piles of laundry you do every week.
  • No one noticed how many times you did the dishes this week.
  • No one listens when you speak truth into their life.
  • No one cares when you are hurt or are disappointed.

Can I tell you today, the Lord sees you. Nothing you do goes unnoticed by Him.

The Lord sees:

  • when you cry
  • when you are feeling lonely
  • when you are feeling overwhelmed

There’s not a tear you shed that He doesn’t know about. I have told you this before but my Mom told us that “our tears are liquid prayers that flow right to the heart of God.”

Take comfort today and know that while you might sometimes feel invisible to the people around you, you are not invisible to God.

This song is a great reminder with all that is going on in our country, that He is still King of the World.

Have a blessed day!

  1. Thanks so much for sharing this word from the Lord this morning. God spoke directly to me. Love your blog. Blessings from NYC

  2. Please say a prayer for a dear and special friend who lost her husband last night. He was only 40. She is left behind with 3 kids. God is in control and has all the reasons to why. Please keep her in your prayers to give her the strength she needs right now for herself and her kids. This was a shock to all of us this morning. Thank you for the scripture.

    1. Deep felt prayers for your friend. I pray she feels the big arms of comfort and peace surround her and her children.🙏

    2. Suddenly feeling sorry for myself seems so silly. Prayers up for those that need it more than I may think I do. Good thing God has enough for all of us…

  3. Every day life is so hard sometimes. It makes you just want to get in the bed and pull the covers over your head! But, knowing our Lord sees our struggle is a comfort in itself. “We are gripping his hem!”

  4. This is so true! Thank you for sharing this with us. I pray that each of us would share this with others Amen ! 😇

  5. Hi Cyndi,

Thanks for this beautiful post. You really seem so lovely, spiritual, inspirational, and also have a great fashion sense for us women over 40 plus. Hope you have a great day!

  6. Thank you for always taking the time to post about My Jesus even when you’re in a hurry out the door. You’re a blessing to so many of us!! The song is a great reminder. Have a beautiful Sunday!

  7. You seem to always post the right thing on Sunday as if you are reading my mind/ situation. I am very lonely and I feel that no one cares except what I can give them and what they can get out of me. I feel very lonely. My job has become my life that’s because I don’t have one. I wish I could get out of this funk. Please pray for me.

    1. Diane-
Your message struck me. I know the feeling. After what seems like a lifetime of reinventing myself so that I can conform to what was needed for my family, I don’t even know how to think about what I might want or need. I am an empty container, yet I try to keep plugging away, looking ‘happy’ and fulfilled when the opposite is true. How does one get out of that? I don’t even have a job- I gave up many careers for my family and now I have nothing. When people ask me what I “do” – I answer with eh truth- I am a fat housewife. I tried clicking on your name, hoping I could get a direct connection to you, but will have to reach out to you here: Just wanted you to know I will be thinking of you when I am feeing sorry for myself and let is both take comfort in knowing there are probably other women who do have far less than we might and can still find some happiness. Yes, and prayers! Lots of prayers sent you way too!

      1. Hi Diane.
I too have been like you, in that I didn’t know who I was or what I was passionate about? I spent years, working full time and putting my family first. And now, at 55 I am just now taking time to explore this. I left my very high paying, stressful job a few months ago, because I wasn’t happy. I’ve spent the last few months working with a Life Coach and trying to figure out what gives me joy. It hasn’t been easy and I have found a few things that I thought I would like to do, not work out at all. So, it’s a process and takes time and lots of prayers. Just don’t give up and maybe just do some volunteer work and find a way to give to others and hopefully your calling will come to you, just as I am hoping for myself.

        1. I am praying for you all! You were each made with a purpose, for a specific reason by our loving Daddy. I pray that you each find that purpose and feel the joy of living the way God made you! <3 Dig into His word and reach out to those who love you. I wish I could give you each a big hug right now, Dianne and Joanne!

          1. Thanks so much to Maryanne and Gloria! It is comforting to know that we are not alone. Someone I recently met, just in a fleeting moment, told me this: ” If He puts you through it, He will Pull you through it.” THAT is what is keeping me searching for some meaning. All the while I realize I have to get out of my own way and sometimes we can be our worst enemy! One foot in from top the other starts the walk. Don’t mean to hijack Cyndi’s blog – just wanted to thank you all for your hugs!

      2. Ladies, I think we all feel this way many times. I certainly have those moments (sometimes that stay with me waaaay too long!). But, being an empty container can be a good thing. Ask God to refill your container to overflowing with the things that bring you happiness and contentment. Thank Him for soon bringing those new “things” and relationships into your lives. They may not be right away but God is faithful. “For I know the plans I have for you…” (Jeremiah 29:11-13). I’m at this same place in my life and I KNOW God has plans for me! Be encouraged, ladies, and let’s all pray together!

    2. We are our brothers keepers … I will pray four sister , no matter what situation you are going through right now , keep your faith and God has said in his word that “he will never leave us or forsake us”. He hears the prayers of the righteous. Try to get involved in a women’s bible study program and that will help you so much , not be so lonely and also make new friends . Be blessed

  8. Oh my goodness..lovely post and much needed today. Just as I was feeling a little overwhelmed with my life you remind us of what we know…God is with us always..
My sincere sympathy for Jodys friend who just lost her husband…God has a plan but sometimes it’s very hard to see…I pray that family is comforted knowing their loved one is in the loving arms of our Lord.🙏🏻

  9. Cyndi, a sincere thank you for this message today. It couldn’t have come at a better time for me and it sounds like I am nit the only one. I will include all of you lovely ladies in my prayers tonight. God bless!

  10. Okay, Cyndi, you’ve done it again! I overslept this morning and missed church altogether. Your words have been perfect for me this weekend and I’ve been filled to the brim. I was a little regretful of missing the message this morning but have been so blessed by you today! Thank you, sweet sister in the Lord!
(Looking forward to hearing you speak in Louisville in the spring!)

  11. You have no idea how much I needed this message today, Cyndi. Thank for reminding us to unclench out fists and trust the Lord to work it out.

  12. Thank you so much for your posts. Today’s message hit close to home. My prayer’s are also with the woman who lost her husband. My cousin lost her husband unexpectedly in May and he was young too. They also had kids still at home. It’s very hard so all prayers and faith really help. Have a blessed day!

  13. When I read what your mother had told you about tears being liquid prayers going to God’s heart, I instantly teared up! That is such a beautiful sentiment!! Thank you for sharing that. It’s truly unforgettable:) God bless.

  14. Thank you for your message, Cyndi. It was a timely one for me as well. The seasons of life can be both a blessing and a challenge. It’s good to know we are not alone. My prayers go out to all who are struggling.
