3 Colors To Look For This Fall

Good morning! It’s Monday! Okay, I’m not really that excited that it’s Monday. I miss Friday, but a good attitude can make my whole day better so I’m trying to start the day off right.

Today, I thought I’d share 3 colors that you’ll be seeing everywhere this fall.

I love the fact that we’re talking about color for the fall season. I wear way too much black and gray so I’m excited to add color to my wardrobe.

The first color to look for this fall is, Burgundy–Fashion designers couldn’t get enough of  burgundy. Some have said burgundy is the new black but even if it’s not, it’s definitely being paired with black.  Burgundy looks great on most complexions and blends seamlessly into any wardrobe.

The second color to look for this fall is, Teal–Rich teal hues are the perfect transitions for the fall season. There’s no one perfect teal; it comes in a range of lush tones, from the peacock blue to the deep, aquamarine-like shades.

The third color to look for this fall is, Colbalt–Cobalt is going to be one of the hottest colors this fall. The great thing is that it was also popular this summer so if you have this color in your wardrobe, you can transition it into the fall season.

Look for these colors while you’re out shopping. Whether its an article of clothing or an accessory, try to add them to your fall wardrobe.  Have fun with your look by adding polka dots and other patterns.

Beauty For the Heart~~Proverbs 17:22 (GNT)), Being cheerful keeps you healthy. It is slow death to be gloomy all the time. Laughter is a powerful antidote. I t makes you feel better and is proven to be good for your health.

If you have trouble laughing, here’s how to start:

  • Smile.
  • Count your blessings.
  • When you hear laughter, move toward it.
  • Spend time with fun, playful people.
  • Bring humor into conversations.
Laughter lightens your burdens, inspires hope, connects you to others, and keeps you grounded, focused, and alert. I don’t know about you, but I’m going to find something to laugh about today!

Have a blessed day!

  1. Is there a way to find out where I can find that grey handbag in your teal items photo? I just love it. I love teal and burgundy has always been one of my favorite colors.

    Thanks

  2. Love the cobalt pants. Would have never thought to put that together! Looks great. One question….what kind of shoes do you wear with that outfit? I have the hardest time putting shoes with an outfit that is being transitioned from summer to fall.

  3. Hi Cyndi, Happy Monday! 🙂 Thanks for the reminder on Proverbs 17:22, very good advice for living a spiritual and happy life.
The Fall colors. I am all over the burgundy and the teal, two of my favorite colors! I’m skittish about the cobalt.. Several years ago I was asked to model for still shots by a hair color company whose color my hair stylist used. They told me to come in MY clothes and a makeup artist would be there to do my makeup. I purchased what I thought was a gorgeous cobalt sweater to wear for the shot. When I arrived, the makeup artist and the photographer stood there looking shocked and asked me if THAT was what I was planning to wear. I said it was and in silence, my makeup was done and pictures were taken. My hair stylist then took me aside and asked me WHY I wore that color as it was very unbecoming on me. ( I thought it looked good ) When the magazine came out, not one of my shots appeared. Talk about feeling like a wart on someone’s nose! Ever since then, I’ve shunned cobalt, but still love the looks of it. How could I have been so wrong?!?!?!
