We have a lot of birthdays in September so we’re celebrating two of them over the holiday weekend. It’s Colt Allen’s 2nd birthday so we’re celebrating his birthday on Saturday and on Monday we’re celebrating my Dad’s birthday. I love family get togethers!

What are your plans this weekend? Do you have Monday off?

Beauty For the Heart~~I was reading this morning in the book of John about Jesus washing the disciples feet. I was reminded how we as christians are called to serve. I’m praying I will have a servant’s heart!

“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” Galatians 5:13

Have a blessed day!

No need to apologize for the animal print! I love that you can embrace it in big ways or just dip into it with a belt or shoes! This is the weekend before school starts, so getting things in order around the house today! Visiting friend in the hospital is top on my list for the weekend…

I love animal print too! In fact, I just ordered a leopard clutch from Forever 21 (which I imagine will end up in my daughter’s closet). We own a business so we are never really “off” technically, but we have some fun things planned for the weekend. We are taking my hubby to Amish – only about an hour from home- for his bday! Have a great weekend! Susan

I love all of these. the fashion is great this year, so I may have to splurge and buy myself something new. I’m happy animals have hung aroung for so long. It used to be my MO and I kept everything from my leopard print down parka to my old ballet flats. I really want a coat like the 1st image.

            Hi Cyndi.

I’m looking forward to fall fashion! :). I just got a new pair of jeans and a pair of black ankle boots from J Crew Factory. Picked up an animal print fitted j Crew shirt from the thrift store! Love your ideas. Thanks for sharing. :)

Happy birthday to Colt Allen and your Dad.

Sounds like a fun weekend. I got to spend today with my youngest son – lunch and a little shopping! Tomorrow evening I get to see the middle son and his family. Church on Sunday, of course. In between, I must do some laundry, house cleaning, and prepping for back to school on Tuesday. Have a great weekend!

Oh Cyndi…what fabulous PINS!!! I love them all! If I was forced to pick favorites, I think I’d pick the first one and the last one. I don’t think I will ever grow tired of animal prints, I think they will come to be like “camel w/ black”, “cashmere sweaters” and trench coats…never out of style. Enjoy your family holiday weekend. Happy birthday to your Dad and that sweet baby, Colt Allen. My sweetie grandson, Trip, was 4 last Tuesday…oh they grow so quickly. Have fun with your “big boy” as well getting him ready for school. You’re going to be a busy girl..be safe and be blessed!

Very cute “pins!” I’m not a real big animal print person. I love it on others but it never feels like “me.” However, I found a coat very similar to the first one you’ve shown at Anne Taylor… It is leopard print only done to look a little more like flowers. I think I really like it. You should check it out too. It’s regular price is nearly $200 but is on sale for 30% off this weekend. Still a bit much for me as I’m not sure if I would really wear the animal print… I’ll wait for clearance prices on it… It’s too hot to wear it now anyway… Thanks for your cute inspirations! Krista
