31 Days Of Fall Fashion (Day 17)

Wow! I’m thankful it’s Friday and our weather is going to be sunny. Just what I needed! It’s Day 17 of my 31 Days of Fall Fashion.

It’s casual Friday and the weather is warming into the 70’s today. I’ll start the day off with a scarf and keep it around for later this evening when I’m out and it gets chilly again.

When it warms up during the day, I can take the scarf off.

I’m also taking advantage of wearing my metallic flats because when the weather gets too cold, I can’t wear them.

31 Days Of Fall Fashion (Day 17)

My favorite outfit was definitely the bottom left, gold and blue scarf. Which one was your favorite?

Beauty For the Heart~~When we think of cleansing our face, we want to remove all the makeup, dirt and toxins. But scripture also talks about cleansing, but it’s cleansing of the heart.

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24

Let’s remember to not only cleanse our face but cleanse our hearts too. We want beauty from the inside out!

Have a blessed day!

  1. I really like all of your choices-especially for different occasions. Seeing them all in close proximity, though I have to vote for the burgundy cords as the star of the show. They look luxe and they are very flattering!

  2. todays outfit is my favorite IF I only get to choose one. the shoes, scarf pants, top. would absolutely change nothing. I bet it would look good with your rain jacket too.

  3. Love, love, love the outfit with the leopard heels and black jacket. It looks so pulled together. I must say you have changed my mind about colored jeans. I always considered them a fad and didn’t want to spend the $ on a fad. But you look so cute in them, and really have showed me how to wear the, that I now want to go out and buy some! My next favorite is the military jacket. I can do this because I just bought one two weeks ago! Third choice is the black pants and print shirt. What a great church outfit. Thanks so much for doing this blog. I realize now that I was in a rut, wearing jeans and a T most of the time. You have me interested in fashion again!

  4. I like today’s and the military jacket outfit. I have never shopped at Old Navy until I started following your blog. Thanks for all the cute suggestions and uplifting words each day!

  5. Adorable along with all of the rest!. I had to work in the yard all day, trying to beat the weather, so no cute outfit for me today. thanks for all the inspiration.

  6. I loved the one with the military jacket! All of your outfits are so cute. I’m 65 and I love copying you. They are mostly age appropriate for me with the exception of the shorter dresses and the shirts that are tucked in. I don’t do tucked in or belts anymore.

  7. Love today’s outfit and the black and white top with black pants. You look great in anything. One of things I admire is you manage to look fashionable and age appropriate. Love your style and your uplifting spirit.

  8. My favorite is today’s, without the scarf. The scarf looks great on you, but I am not a scarf wearer. Also like the burgundy pants with the leopard heals for a nice outing! Thanks for sharing!

  9. Did you get those metallic flats recently? I was in my local Marshalls today and did not see any metallic shoes. Also, I posted in another thread, what is the brand of your Military jacket ( I know it came from stitch fix)?

  10. Oh! Don’t you look like a fashion model today? Love everything about that outfit, the jewelry and shoes are the icing on the cake. I saw that very top on oldnavy.com and wondered how it would look in the front when worn. It looks cute! I really like the scarf with the pendant, I think it makes a very interesting composition. I’m glad you are getting some sunshine. We finally had a day of sun yesterday and today here in Missouri. Prior to that, we had over a week of rain and dreariness.

  11. I think the one today is my favorite. I never shop old navy. But after seeing all the cute things you have from there, I will make a special trip there.

  12. Love the grey sweater with the scarf ,I really am happy that grey is back.Grey goes with just about anything.I like to make my own jewelry and 2 years ago I made earrings a necklace and a couple of bracelets, now all I need is a grey sweater.

  13. The bottom right in your military jacket is my favorite; and here I thought I wasn’t especially fond of military jackets but you rock it! Have a beautifully blessed Fall weekend!

  14. Hi Cyndi—Love the outfit…My favorite colors are grey and black…lol. Could you please update your hair cut and styling technique. Your hair always looks perfect! God Bless!

  15. This is my favorite of all the outfits this month so far. So adorably cute! I will be copying this one. Blessings!

  16. I love to use grey in my wardrobe! It goes with everything and always looks classy! Off topic…could you consider doing a post on finding the right boots? I don’t have large calves but everytime I look for boots I tend to only find the ones with such narrow tops they are tight on my calves and upper legs. Also the right jeans to wear under them. Mine always twist and I’m in a constant fight with them!

  17. Hi Cyndi! Fashion is fun because the Lord made us to be creative and I love the artistry and beauty that comes through each outfit that you wear! My favorite is ….. (Drum roll) the bottom right outfit. The top left is second. I love the uptown casual look, with boots and a scarf, and I also enjoy wearing, and seeing your jackets. We have had such a mild October in Colorado, that I haven’t gotten sweaters or even jackets out yet!
