28 Days of Spring Fashion (Day 7)

It’s Day 7 of my 28 Days of Spring Fashion and I’m styling the yellow sweater again today. In case you are new around here, I picked 9 pieces of clothing from Target and I’m styling them 9 different ways.

Here are the pieces I picked out.

Here are the ways I’ve styled the pieces so far.

I am loving this yellow sweater. I even washed it, and it washed well. It’s a little thin so I added a white tank top under it.

28 Days of Spring Fashion (Day 7)
I’m wearing my yellow earrings from Stella & Dot and since the sun is shining, my Tori Burch sunglasses.

  1. Hey – love your website – Just wondering if you should always wear longer tops with skinny jeans? I am 49 by the way but look much younger 🙂 – Thanks!

  2. Everything looks so great on you!! The yellow sweater in the store was very thin so I bought the green top instead and really like it. I haven’t worn it yet since we still have some snow here in Virginia. Could you tell me where you found the Tori Burch sunglasses? They are really nice and I could use a new pair this summer!! Thanks for sharing!

    1. Hey Karlyn,
I purchased my Tori Burch sunglasses several years ago through my eye doctor. She sells sunglasses in her office.
I couldn’t find them online. Sorry about that!!
      Cyndi

  3. Cindi, you always look fantastic and have such a beautiful smile. I remember you saying that you used to be a Dental Hygienist by profession. Would you consider sharing some of your advice and tips for keeping a healthy and bright smile? I’m sure most of us know the basics by now but no doubt you’ve seen it all with your experience. I’m sure you have lots of great tricks of the trade so I’m wondering if you’d consider doing a teaching on this subject sometime. Anybody with me?

  4. Hi Cyndi,
Thank you for all the time and effort you put into your posts! It’s been a long winter here in Maine (and everywhere else I’m sure) . Your blogs have been a real boost to my moral and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed them! It’s like having a special “on-line ” friend! Thanks again and keep those blogs coming!

  5. Cyndi, this looks amazing on you. Yellow with jeans is always pretty in my opinion. Your hair is lovely.

  6. The yellow is absolutely perfect on you – gives us hope that maybe spring will arrive again this year??!!??!! The earrings give it that extra pop too – especially with your dark hair – great look!!!

  7. I wore the yellow sweater yesterday and put a yellow cami bra underneath. It is a little thin and low in the front on me. I put a Target turquoise/black/yellow scarf with it. I love yellow and turquoise together.
Hope that sun keeps shining to melt all that snow.

  8. Love the earrings! I love accessorizing with jewelry, but don’t do very good at changing out my earrings. My husband bought me a very small pair of diamond earrings a few years ago and I never remember to change them out. Love the stacked bracelets and watches as well! I have never purchased from Stella & Dot, but have admired their stuff on my blogs. I probably need to check them out.

  9. I just recently started following your blog just as you began this 28 days of Spring Fashion. It’s so great! I typically wear a lot of black, white & neutral colors so I would have NEVER looked twice at a yellow sweater or the scarf because they were outside my comfort zone. I have purchased both & am amazed at the way these blend with what I already own. Thank you so much!

  10. That sweater is a beautiful color for you! I love it! It did not get great reviews but it looks fabulous on you! Did you find the fit to be ok? And I love the earrings! I have never tried Stella and Dot and I need to get on that band wagon!! Susan

  11. So cute! Yellow is another great color on you. Good to know this sweater washes up nicley.
Thanks for sharing all of your looks with us.

  12. Cyndi,
We finally had a break in the weather thus weekend, so I wore the mint top iper your recommendation. It was so cheery, just what I needed after months of browns, blacks, and burgundys. Love your blog! It is great how you choose both higher end and less expensive clothing and pull it all together!
    Thank you!
    Susan

  13. At least the sun is shining, but can’t believe you still have snow on the ground! Hopefully, it will all melt soon. I’m anxiously waiting on my package from Target, that has this sweater and shoes. I thought the sweater seemed thin, too. I like how you added the white tank. I could also see a turquoise blue tank or navy blue for another look-so many possibilities! The Stella and Dot earrings are so pretty and really makes a statement, that no necklace is needed or vice versa. Remember this fashion tip, ladies!

Thank you for another great Spring look!!

  14. The earrings are so cute with the sweater! You are doing a great job and a great service to us women. Thank you for putting so much time, thought and effort into your blog.

  15. Adorable as always……nice spring look……I too am in a thinner sweater but had to go back in and put on a tank…..getting ahead of myself with this “spring” weather (50 degrees with snow on the ground) 🙂 But I really want to thank you for yesterday’s post…..went straight to the heart! Thanks!
