The Best Fall Jeans for Women in 2026: 12 Pairs I’m Loving

I wear jeans all year, but fall is definitely when I start wearing them on repeat. Most days, I’m happy with a cute sweater, jeans, and a great pair of shoes. It’s easy, and there are so many ways to change up the look.

I shared more about what’s trending in my Fall 2026 Wearable Denim Trends post, but today I’m sharing the actual jeans that have caught my eye for fall. Some are newer styles, and others are those classic pairs you’ll wear over and over again.

These Universal Thread High-Rise Wide-Leg Jeans are such a good Target find! They’re only $28, and I love finding an affordable pair of jeans that doesn’t look inexpensive.

They have a high rise and a full-length wide leg, which is a combination I’m wearing a lot right now. The denim also has quite a bit of stretch, so they’re a nice option if you don’t love the feel of stiff denim. They come in several washes, but I really like the dark wash and the vintage medium wash for everyday wear.

One thing to keep in mind is the length. The regular has a 32-inch inseam, but they also come in short and long lengths.

Madewell Wide-Leg Jean in Super Stretch Denim

I’ve always had good luck with Madewell jeans, and I really like this wide-leg pair! They’re fitted through the hips and thighs, so they don’t feel too wide, and the denim has a nice amount of stretch. I also love the full length, but if you want them to hit closer to the ankle, you can order the short inseam.

I’m always happy when I find jeans that are cute and comfortable, and these Quince Wide-Leg Jeans check both boxes! They have a good amount of stretch, and I love this darker wash for fall. They also come in several lengths, which makes finding the right fit so much easier. Plus, they’re only $50!

I love having a lighter-wash jean in the mix, especially for fall! This wash looks so good with all the darker colors I start reaching for this time of year, like navy, charcoal gray, and black. It’s a nice way to lighten up an outfit when you’re wearing a darker sweater or jacket on top.

Best Barrel-Leg Jeans for Women

The Pistola Lexi Jeans are a fun option if you want to try the barrel-leg trend. They have that slightly bowed shape through the leg, but it’s subtle enough that they don’t feel too exaggerated.

I also love the Artisan wash for fall. It has a casual, lived-in look that works with so many of the sweaters and jackets I’m wearing this time of year.

I love having different styles of denim in my closet because I don’t always want the same look. This pair of jeans has more of a trouser look. They’re a great option when you want to wear denim but want your outfit to feel a little dressier. The Falmouth wash is easy to wear with all of the fall colors we’re seeing right now.

I love the patch pockets on these Talbots Supersoft Wide Ankle Jeans. It’s a small detail, but it gives them a completely different look from a basic pair of jeans.

They’re also an ankle length, so even though they have a wider leg, you don’t have all of the fabric you get with a full-length wide-leg jean. I think this is a good style to try if you’ve been wanting to wear wider jeans but haven’t loved some of the really full styles.
