I am loving stripes this summer! I just got my daughter a similar fit and flare dress and it is so cute and timeless! I think I need a pair of striped Toms. I wonder if they carry those?! Susan
When the whole stripes as a trend thing started up huge this summer, I was like why, why, why would they do this to women? BUT I am an apple, it is an adorable trend, but not on the body for me 🙁 SO, as a nod to the nautical I got the cutest jcrew t with a huge anchor offset on the side, a really cute striped clutch and some awesome navy and white striped sandals. I love the chevron skirt, I think that might work on an apple shape. Thanks for showing ways stripes can work as accessories. I look at the horizontal striped maxi and my whole being screams NO!
not having a body conducive to stripes I will have to ck into the accessories if I want stripes. and I am hoping some will go into the stripes wisely.
I was just counting up: I think I have two striped maxi skirts and a striped t-shirt so far. I love wearing them.
I have seen stripes everywhere this season. I wish I could wear them, but being an hourglass the horizontal ones don’t seem to lay right. They end up looking more like waves….LOL. I am planning to add some accessories with stripes though and I love the chevron stripe skirt you are showing. Great trend, thanks for showing us other ways to incorporate them outside of the main garment we are wearing.

I have been OBSESSED with stripes this summer. Tote, maxi dress, tees, sweatshirt, t-shirt dress…I can’t get enough! Navy/white and gray/white stripes look SO cute with brightly colored shorts and jeans…such a fun and nautical look.
