31 Days of Fall Fashion (Day 22)

Happy Hump Day! It’s Day 22 of my 31 Days of Fall Fashion. I love navy and burgundy together. It’s a great color combination.

This outfit is from Audrey at Putting Me Together. Don’t you love the navy blouse with the burgundy pants?

maroon and navy

I’m sharing that outfit with you because I love the two colors. I tried to pull them together in my outfit and it was just so-so. But the tip you can take away is go shop your closet for some navy and burgundy and wear them.

31 Days of Fall Fashion (Day 22)

In hind sight, I wish I had worn longer jeans because I froze all day. The temperature was in the 50’s and it was cloudy.

I do wear flats and these metallic flats from Marshall’s have been my go-to pair. I purchased them last year and I’ve worn them a lot!

Many of you have left comments about what type of sock I wear with my booties. Here’s what I wear: ( I posted this on Instagram yesterday.)

31 Days of Fall Fashion (Day 22)

They’re no show socks. You can wear them with your flats too, if you like the feel of a sock. You can find them lots of different places, I found these at Marshall’s.

Have you tried no show socks??

Beauty For the Heart~~As you get ready today and add eyeliner, eyeshadow and mascara to your eyes, remember to guard your eyes. Let’s honor Christ with our eyes.

Matthew 6:22-23 (ESV) says,“The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness.”

Let’s make sure our eyes are healthy!

Have a blessed day!

  1. I love all your clothes and ideas for wearing/matching them up! We have very much the same taste in clothing! You have given me some great ideas for changing up my wardrobe as we have a lot of the same clothing!! Now, I just wish I was your size, I’m a few (ahem) pounds heavier!
I would love to see the back and both sides of your hair. I’m thinking of getting a cut similar to yours and would like pics to show my hair dresser! Keep up the good work! God bless you and your famiy during this holiday season!

  2. I love the way you tied your scarf. Do you what it is called so I can look up how to do it? Your outfit and style is so pretty. Thanks so much!

  3. I love your outfit more than the model’s! And love the no show socks. Will check that out. Thanks for all your tips.

  4. I recently purchased Smartwool no show socks. They ROCK! The first pair I have ever bought that stayed put, and they keep my feet warm. The were 14 or 15 dollars, so I started with one pair, I am going to get more. I have other pairs of Smartwool socks and they have held up well.

  5. cute outfit….though I thought you would wear your blue polka dot shirt with your burgandy jeans from kut from the kloth. As always thanks for all your ideas!

      1. I just realized she wore the kut from the kloth burgandy pants the day before…lol! Not that I dont often wear the same thing two days in a row….especially if I am going to see different people:). I love those burgandy kut from the kloth pants…..they r on my wish list:)

  6. You look great Cindi and I love the Beauty for the Heart message. Thanks ladies for the sock tips. I gave up finding ones that don’t slip off with booties but will try the Hue and gripper ones for sure!

  7. Cyndi,
I think if you changed out the scarf for another one (maybe polka dot) your outfit would look more put together. You have good pieces, however. I read your blog and that of your sister daily. Cheers!

  8. You always wear your jewelry so well. I’m a 2 rings and watch kinda gal. Earrings on special occasions. Want to wear the long necklaces but somehow they never lay nicely. Loving the navy blouse w/polka dots, cardigan and burgundy pants. I did purchase a pair of deep purple pants for fall to push myself into colored bottoms, but now to hunt for the right top. Please keep sharing your wonderful beauty through heart and clothing, you are a lovely inspiration!

  9. Ok so I’ve tried those socks a couple of times before and they come off my heel and end up bunching up under my foot. Do you ever have this problem??

    1. I love no show socks………………however I have found that you do get what you pay for. So, if you plan to wear them regularly you should invest in good ones. I LOVE the Hue brand and they have different styles hi and lo cut for different types of shoes…………….for flats, loafers and sneakers. Some also have padded soles or heels. My first ones I took on a missions trip where there was lots of walking, miles daily and never had a problem with them slipping off my heels. When I got home I bought some cheaper ones and after one outing discarded them as they did not stay on my heels like the Hue brand.

    2. I have success with the no show socks that have a “gripper” in the back at the top of the heel. They always stay in the right place! I have purchased them at Journey’s, Kohls and Marshall’s.

      1. I like the socks with the “gripper” too. I bought some extra low cut ones from Kohl’s that work really well with flats. The low cut type I will wear with booties but they tend to show with flats or loafers and I don’t like that. 😉

  10. You look amazing in those jeans! It’s so hard when the weather is going back and forth to know which shoes to wear. I would have been cold too…but you looked great. 🙂

  11. I am loving the fall fashions! (even the camo pants). Today, I especially appreciate the scripture you have shared. Many Blessings to you!
