Into The Light

Happy Sunday friends! You all know how much I love music and especially christian music.

I love to share songs that I’ve been listening to through the week. I think I might have found the theme song for this blog. 🙂

The song is called, “Marvelous Light” and it has wonderful lyrics and it makes you want to get up and dance (okay it makes me want to dance). She also plays a mandolin, and I love that instrument!

Here are some of the lyrics:

I am not who I once was
Defined by all the things I’ve done
Afraid my shame would be exposed
Afraid of really being known
But then you gave my heart a home

So I walked out of the darkness and into the light
From fear of shame into the hope of life
Mercy called my name and made a way to fly
Out of the darkness and into the light

Ladies, that is what we are all about around here! We are walking out of DARKNESS and into LIGHT.

Into the light
We are not who we once were. We are forgiven and we are letting our light shine for His glory.

Matthew 5:16, Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Enjoy this song and if you feel like it, get up and dance!

Will you join me and LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE?

Have a blessed day!

  1. Cindi, you ate such an inspiration! Live your blog and energy. I think U should have a women’s gathering talking about clothes, makeup, etc! All related to to the glory we could get from theses tips. Getting ourselves together and still walking with The Lord! I’m in southern In , but I know several of my friends who would join me! It would be great to have U come speak or we would come to U!!!!! Just planting an idea!!! BTW. I have a grandson that is 7 months old named Colt! We are already connected:)

  2. Love this song! Might be the push I need to finally take lessons and get beyond the 2 finger chords on my mandolin! (Which I totally rock LOL).

  3. Thank you, Cyndi! This is the “theme” that I’ve been hearing today. It was in my morning devotional, the sermon from my pastor, and now in your blog – that I always look forward to reading.
