26 Days of Summer Fashion (Day 26)

Well, it’s Day 26 of my 26 Days of Summer Fashion! It’s hard to believe that in just a few short weeks we’ll be talking about fall fashion. I almost had a panic attack just writing that.

We have had such cold and snowy winters the last few years, I can’t think about cooler weather yet. I love me some sweaters and boots but let’s slow down, mm’kay?

One of the trends we’ve talked about this summer are wide leg pants or as some people call them palazzo pants. When I first saw them, I wasn’t sure how I felt but since I have been wearing them, I am now a fan.

They’re so comfortable, it does feel like you’re wearing pajamas but if you style them right, I think they look nice. This outfit is one that I picked out at Glamour Farms.

I’m a huge fan of the hi-lo top. I love how this one hangs longer in the back and covers the rear area. Nice!

It’s so fun when you can be fashionable and comfortable at the same time. That’s a win win in my book! For size reference, I’m wearing a small in the top and a medium in the pant.

Thank you all for hanging with me for my 26 Days of Summer Fashion!! I hope it’s helped you and I’m super excited about the rest of the year.

The month of July is going to be full of summer sales so I’ll try to share some of the best stuff with you. Then we’ll of course start talking fall fashion so we’ll be ready for what’s in and what’s out for the season.

Also, I’m just a few days away from sharing my new web design. Walking in Grace and Beauty will be shortened to Grace + Beauty. It’s who we are as a community of women.

Here is a sneak peak of my new logo! I can’t wait to share the new site with you!

Beauty For the Heart~~It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1

Don’t let Satan steal your joy! Satan wants to keep you chained by negative emotions, addictions, and habits. He wants to hold you captive to past mistakes. He wants to keep you entangled in emotional and spiritual bondage.

Listen carefully, Christ has set you free! Walk today in the knowledge that you no longer in bondage to sin.

Have a blessed day!

  1. Okay. I didn’t think I liked paloozo pants (HOW do you SPELL that, anyway?) but that outfit is SUPER cute. I love the gold necklace too. It makes the perfect statement on the solid top. And I’m excited to see your new design!!

  2. I am loving palazzo pants too Cyndi! You look so cuthe and you have styled so many great items from this shop! I am checking them out tonight! Susan

  3. Absolutely fell in love with a previous palazzo outfit you styled earlier this summer also with a navy blue sleeveless tank. So much so I went out and found one nearly identical and bought it w/o trying it on. I put it in my closet and decided I would use it for a family occasion or something that might come up bc hey, it would be cool and comfy and not show my spider veins. Nothing came up and our weather in Kentucky has been so rainy that I’m still in jeans! So this week I’ve been packing for my beach trip and decided to try on my palazzo outfit before packing it…I’m so glad I did…they were so long that if I had cut them off, all of the design would have been cut off the bottom. The main part of the pants leg still had a small scattered print but the big border that brought the whole look together would have been missing. Now I’m no small person…im a size 16 but I can usually make things work and i own my body…I do whats right for me but this is definitely not a look for me…not bc i look fat(ter) but bc of my short legs…boohoo for me once again :(.

  4. I can tell you put thought and prayer into your blog and the arrangement of it. I, too, was thinking I’d like to see the scripture area at the top. But, now I see why it is placed where you have it. I agree with you about that reaching non believers better, too! (:

  5. Love the color, of course, on you Cyndi! Looks great. Have a happy fourth of July. Your Beauty for the Heart is awesome today!! 😉 God’s blessings

  6. Sorry cyndi, but the blouse does not work . The back is too long for the full pants. A less full top is what is needed. You look cute in most things.

    1. I also think a more fitted top would be more flattering. I really like the print on the pants, shoes and accessories perfect. Thank you for the scripture.

  7. Ps… I sure will miss seeing all the fashions …. I have enjoyed them in the last 26 days… You must think up with another title and start more fashions for us to see. 🙂 like mid summer fashions or hot weather fashions hee hee something …. <3

  8. Hi Cyndi, I love this outfit…. You make it look soo beautiful! Until I lose to my natural weight, I will hang back from wide legged pants of any kind.
I love you new Grace & Beauty logo!!!!
I also enjoyed the Beauty for the Heart today. Praise the Lord He paid it all.. that we may live eternally !!
1John 8:32(KJV) And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
33 They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

  9. Hi Cyndi,
I have enjoyed your 26 days of summer fashion. You always look great! I am so happy I found your blog this past spring. I can’t wait to see your new web design : )
Have a great 4th of July!

  10. I’m not a fan of the high/low tops, but this looks great on you. I’ve seen a few tops (Glamour Farms) that i liked but my size large was sold out.????
I will keep checking to see if it gets restocked.
Beauty for the heart today was awesome.
Have a great and safe 4th of July.

  11. As always you look adorable, but I can’t do palazzo pants…it makes everyone
look like they are larger on the bottom than they are:((
I do however, love your top! Happy 4th of July!

  12. since my comments suddenly disappeared I will just say great great outfit and the beauty for our hearts was terrific. I guess I did not need to have said all those other things I was liking or it would not have disappeared, right ??

  13. Thank you Cyndi for your inspiring words today. God is so faithful and I really needed to hear these words today. I have been struggling with past emotions and hurts and am so thankful that God speaks through people like you. Thank you for following His lead. Have a blessed day!!!

  14. Your message today was what I needed. I do feel that every time I have been in a good place, something comes in. So I will work on not letting Satan steal those good things in my life. I am requesting prayers for my daughter she seems to be going on a downward spiral and making poor decisions

    1. Hi Ellen,
I felt the need to let you know I’m praying you and your daughter. Girls sometimes will do things they know we as mothers do not approve of.
Just keep praying that God will keep her safe from all harm. Ask him to have her go in the direction that Jesus Christ wants her to go in. Do not give up Ellen.
May heart goes out to you
      Rebecca

    2. Ellen,
Sometimes our daughters do not always do what we want them to do.
Continue to pray that God will keep her safe from all harm.
Know that God will fix it.
      Praying and your,
      Rebecca

  15. I agree with the other reader about preferring more form fitting clothes. I don’t like to feel I am wearing pajamas unless I have had an early shower and preparing to binge watch some BBC shows. I enjoy your blog and think the new name is great.

  16. I always enjoy your beauty for the heart. You look great in the outfit but for me I like a more fitted outfit. Or a maxi skirt. Don’t forget to answer my question about sandles. 🙂 and happy 4th. Let freedom ring. I am always thankful on Sunday to go to the church of my choice.

  17. This outfit looks so nice on you, I love navy and the necklace is the perfect accessory! Did the necklace come from Glamour Farms also? Thank you for the hardwork you put into the summer fashions, I am truly thankful for your Blog! Have a great afternoon! 🙂

  18. Not a fan of Palazzo pants, but your outfit is really cute!
Note: I would love to see the bible verse at the top or middle of the blog entry. Sometimes I feel it is an after thought, and I would love to let the words sink in as I look over your blog. Sometimes, it really hits home and is so inspiring. Thank you for your blog that combines fashion with faith.

    1. Liz, agree with you on both the outfit & the scriptural message. Since GRACE comes first, I feel the same way, that it should come first in the blog. Sometimes I’ve had to do a double take to find the Beauty for the Heart! And like others have said about today’s message, it really hit home. Sometimes it’s just so hard to get beyond our past transgressions, and to believe we are truly forgiven of our sins that we have confessed. Happy 4th to Everyone!

    2. Hey ladies,
I do have a reason for putting my Beauty For the Heart at the bottom. Believe me in no way is scripture an after thought for me.

If you knew me personally, you would know that about me. As a matter of fact, I would lean on the side of being too bold. I have to reign myself in at times. 🙂

I love that I have so many sisters in Christ who read my blog but my prayer is that I have non believers that come to my blog too.

If that’s the first thing they see, they might click away immediately. But if it’s farther down they might read my blog and while they may not care for my Beauty for the Heart, they might read it.

My prayer is they will come back again and at some point they might come to know Christ.

Grace comes first in my title because GRACE is the most important thing. I have been give more than I deserve!

I will have a place on my new website design where you can easily read all my Sunday Beauty For the Heart posts.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!
      Cyndi

  19. I love my palazzo pants, but I have to laugh because then when I see a picture of me in them, they aren’t quite as flattering. But hey….who can look good all the time, right? I probably could alter them somehow to make them better! What kind of material are yours? Maybe that’s the secret because you really look great in them. jodie

  20. I just ordered this top and two others….for all three with the 40% discount my total including shipping was $58.!!!!

  21. Love this look! I have enjoyed all your summer outfits and have used them to update my outfits. Just curious, how tall are you. Being short myself, I often feel that I shouldn’t wear some of the latest trends like this palazzo pants outfit. Should I try it?

  22. That top. Oh my word, it’s perfect!!!! I’m not sure that the wide leg pants look as good on those of that do not have hips….. Hmmmm. Maybe I’ll try them on now though because I love this outfit! ????

Love your Beauty for the Heart (always) but especially today… Learning to walk in Freedom can be a process for many, but such a wonderful realization when it really ‘clicks’ or you get the ‘Aha!’ moment!!
My son sings on our worship team and currently leads a song called ‘No Longer Slaves’ by Bethel….. Just wow- such a powerful song! If you haven’t heard it yet, look it up! You’ll love it!

    Blessings!!
    Joni

  23. Love this look! I was always afraid that wide leg pants would make me look bigger than I am, but this look is very trim. I also like the hi-lo top.

Your new web design looks fresh – I always look forward to your posts and am looking forward to the new web page.

  24. I can’t wait to see the new web design. I’m ready for a refresh as well. Do you mind sharing who you used? I need to start saving my pennies to make this happen.

  25. I have 4 pairs of palazzo pants that I absolutely love! They are perfect for any situation and I love that I can dress them up for church when I’m just not feeling a skirt or dress. I saw a pin of some cute blue ones and now after seeing yours I am convinced I need to add a fifth pair to my closet, in a blue shade! Happy 4th!!

  26. I have enjoyed seeing your summer outfits. Like you, I decided to branch out and buy a pair of pilazzo pants. Well, I love them! I feel they can look both professional and dressy, depending on how you accessorize them. So, thank you!!!! Looking forward to more of your July posts. I am still not able to say the “f” word because then I know it will be “w”????. I love SUMMER!!!!!
